Column: Offering IR Aways on VSAS (Excluding DR opportunities)
• This category specifies programs that offer a VIR specific visiting clerkship with a valid course number.

• Programs that offer a VIR specific visiting clerkship with a valid course number on VSAS are labeled as "Yes" under this column and are highlighted in blue. These institutions are described in more detail under the sheet: “VSAS IR institutions”.

• Programs that do not offer an VIR visiting clerkship opportunity via VSAS are labeled as "No".

• Note that although the program may not have a course number for a specific VIR program, they may offer an DR away clerkship that may provide a VIR experience during the DR clerkship. Please refer to the column: "Interventional Radiology Experience via IR rotation (or Diagnostic Radiology Course)" for more information regarding the DR away clerkship experience.

• Note that some programs state on their website as offering radiology visiting clerkships via VSAS but were not listed under VSAS at the time this information was collected. These were marked as "Yes" but not highlighted in blue. You will see a black arrow on the top right corner of the cell for additional note. Simply hover your cursor on top of the cell and the note will appear. Column: Offering DR Aways on VSAS or through an Institutional Application Process
• Institutions that offer a general DR away clerkship via VSAS or through an application outside of VSAS were labeled as "Yes" under this column. These include all DR programs that may or may not offer VIR exposure during the DR visiting clerkship. Please refer to the column: "Interventional Radiology Experience via IR rotation (or Diagnostic Radiology Course)" for more detailed information regarding the DR experience.

Column: Duration of individual rotation
• Most programs offer 4 week programs. Please check your institution schedule and correlate with the visiting clerkship institution's schedule. Often times institutions have different clerkship dates.

• Some programs offer students to rotate max of 8-12 weeks at their institution, allowing students to participate in different radiology visiting clerkships at the same institution.

• Programs that are participating in the military match were labeled "N/A" unless more information was found.

Column: Interventional Radiology Experience via IR rotation (or Diagnostic Radiology Course)
• Description of the VIR specific visiting clerkship experience is provided.

• If the program does not provide a VIR specific away clerkship but provides a general DR away clerkship, the description of the DR away clerkship is provided instead.
