Step 1: Setup All Students PageAny red means don't touch, a formula is doing something.

Here you need to input student information. I would suggest getting this info from your schools LMS or having studnets fill in a google form. Not all columns are needed.Input value here.

These two are the filter colors columns. On the All students page those coloumns are the ones that corispond to the fliters on the email pages.

Step 2: Setup Email pages.Important to know features.

In the filter columns you need to put the filters you wish to use. So for the class filter you must fill in what are your classes titled on the All Students page.1st: Make copies of the Blank Email pages.

I make a copy of the blank email pages and title them the email I am sending. That way I am always ready to go with the next email I need to send. If you keep using the same sheet you will have to keep deleting the email sent column. This is nice for several reasons. You can delete the copies after you done sending them or no longer need them for your records.

Step 3: Install Addon Yet Another Mail Merge2nd: Key commands.

Click Add-ons up in the menu and install Yet Another Mail Merge. This will allow you to take advantage of this sheet.<<>>You must put << before and >> after in your email to relate to the column that you are using to populate the email. Example <<Child>> will fill in the students first name in your email.

0In the Mail Merge column place a zero and that will not send emails to those students.

Step 4: Start Emailing. ,For the email colomn, you can use , to seperate emails and send to multiple address for one person if you wish.

After you have this setup go to your gmail and compose a draft email to nobody. Use <<The title of a column>> in your email where you want it to be filled in from the Mega Mail Merge Time Saver.

3rd: Email Template Copies

These are just a few templates I created that can be copied into your gmail when you compose and email and it will keep that formating. Feel free to change anything on those templates, as there is no formulas. Just copy the template you want to use from purple bar to purple bar.
