It was my first event, so I didn't have other events to compare. Well done.

It might be better to have a panel of three (of varying views) screen the questions. I really think Chris is a good host, but I feel there is a bias as to how he selects questions.

As much as I love Dr E's course on Wondrium, I did not think I could watch all four lessonslive - but I was wrong. I could not stop watching the live presentation! I am enrolled for "In the beginning" and I am hoping for "An Easter Sytory".

Would like more but would be easier for me to have modules that I could attend according to my own schedule (similar to the Great Courses). I never get tired of listening to what Bart has to say and enjoy his sense of humour. Bart's high level of "laid back professionalism" really works well for me.

I enjoyed the webinar a lot and I think it was well done overall. The way the questions were moderated was maybe a bit random, but I would be hard put to find a better way to involve everybody, except by sourcing questions beforehand and organising them, which would of course take away from the spontaneity of the event.
I think it's great that the events are recorded and made available to those who signed up/paid for it. I am in Europe, and while I was able to attend all lectures this time (good decision to do this on Sunday), it's not the most convenient time, because of the time different. So definitely nice to have that option.
Overall, I feel like one thing that could be improved content-wise would be to go a bit deeper/more into specialized areas. I feel like people who sign up for this are mostly at least somewhat familiar with Dr. Ehrman's work or at least the field. I am absolutely bible-illiterate myself, but have watched and read a lot of material by Dr. Ehrman and I feel that quite a lot of the content of the webinar was something I had already heard before. Obviously, some of the material would be the same, but I think that it would be possible to have a bit more scientific insight here.
Overall, it was a great experience, thank you for making this available.

I missed live, but watched every session recording and Q&A after the fact. On the website platform, because the videos are just Vimeo embedded into your website platform, numerous times your website would time me out while watching the recordings (say i paused to use the restroom or didn't get back right away), and i then had to sign back into my account which meant I had to start ALL over again because the Vimeo video didn't track my progress or play where it left off (vimeo's website does this, but since you are just embedding it directly on your page it does not track progress). So i was constantly having to sign in all over again, fast forward trying to find my place, and honestly it was pretty annoying as this happened 8+ times to me as I slowly made my way through all the sessions when I was able to.

If you could figure out how to either A) allow the vimeo embed to track your progress so it plays where you left off, OR B) change your website time-out settings so I can just stay signed in and never automatically logged out (so that when i come back the page is right where i left it including the video). I realize for security reasons you may not prefer that, as you want to re-authenticate the token, etc., but maybe just allow users to choose that (never log me out) from a setting somewhere with a toggle, so that if I am not worried about the security issues, I can stay logged in and not signed out automatically as I am not really concerned about it.

I don't understand why the video isn't downloadable. To keep them for oneself now as a future reference, one has to play them through and screen record them. "Yeah, but you got them here on the site", I hear you say. We all know what happens to sites and passwords 3 or 4 computers down the line. I want them in my Bart-Ehrman-folder on external drive that's backed up at intervals. And also: Prof Ehrman is so passionate and knowledgeable it's an adventure to follow him on any lecture!

If anything, I would just say that I wish there was a bit more rigor to the whole thing. Maybe some supplemental reading we could read ahead of time with room to go deeper into the ultra-specifics. Most of this knowledge I've already heard before from Bart's books so I was hoping I could learn some brand new content :) you did awesome though! fun time.

My husband and I attended several events by Prof. Ehrman in Philly and Jersey way back when. We have both evolved in our belief systems. I consider myself an agnostic atheist. Mr. Ehrman helped tremendously during the transition.

I recorded the entire day's sessions on video, live. I'm glad I did, as the data you made available to download afterwards is audio only. Please consider offering the composite audio+video to attendees next time, as the video slides are an important part of the presentation.

One nitpick: I almost missed one session, as the time to return was not suffixed with "EST" and I am an hour behind. I suggest you append EST (or EDT) to any times mentioned verbally or in graphics just in case.

Bart’s lectures are always such a great blend of scholarship and personable presentation. I also appreciate the technical savvy and Chris’s management. In all, an intellectual blast! (I’d love to attend a lecture on Original Sin and what purposes it served...)

Thanks for disabling chat during the lectures! This is greatly appreciated. Chat has been an issue (and a terrible distraction) lately in a number of webinars and online discussions in which I have been involved. (Of course all of these involved topics which are potentially culturally or politically divisive/charged.) I really do wish Zoom would allow individual participants to disable chat if they so choose, but given that they don't, thank you for doing it on your end and please continue this practice.

Overall, it is a good seminar as usual. However ~ 60% of the materials Professor Ehrman had presented in his other lectures or writings before. Also I thought he could have covered a bit on 1) Birthday celebration in the Hebrew tradition. There are very limited examples in the Bible, e.g. the Pharaoh, King Herod that leads me to wonder perhaps birthday celebration was not important. 2) how the celebration of Jesus' birthday evolved over time into the big deal of Christmas today.

I enjoy seeing the chat conversations among the participants. Some know each other from previous seminars or other connections. It brings the intimacy that one finds at in-person event. I don't consider it a distraction but an attraction!

It would be nice if the online videos saved your progress. The videos started from the beginning if I had to stop listening and get back to the video later. Then I had to figure out where I left off. Otherwise, great video course!

I'm also quite excited that he is going to delve into the Old Testament in the near future because that is exactly where my curiosity naturally drifts after his introduction to the Historical Jesus and the New Testament.
