All Contractor’ companies to have their own Safe System of Work (SSoW) based on the contractor’s risk assessment and safety documents, which should be made available to the organisers.

Trade Stands

Trade Stand Manager or his deputy to ensure trade stand vehicles are escorted to their pitch.
To instruct the trader on the requirements regarding observing site speed limits and other limitations whilst setup of the show is
taking place.
The times available for access and removal of their stand from the showground is as per their specific agreement with the organisers

Caravan site

The appointed Caravan Warden will be in charge of the area used for the caravans. The Caravan Warden along with their assistants will be in charge of the layout and siting the caravan pitches and units.

Regulations on the time scale and use of this area is covered by the instruction sheet supplied by the organisation to all caravan owners/occupiers who may be using the site between set-up to break down, which include the precautions regarding fire fighting.

Fire points with extinguishers will be sited at suitable places along with fire point signs and instructions on using the equipment, which will be provided by Southern Counties Canine Association.

Waste disposal for the caravan site will be arranged by contractors hired by the show for this purpose.

Any occupiers of caravans refusing to comply with these regulations will be required to leave the show ground with their caravan/outfit.
