Daily Cash Flow Tool
2
3
4
This tool tracks the money moving in and out of your account one day at a time, so you can see your real cash position on any given day of the month. It is built to answer a simple question before it becomes a problem: will the money be there when each bill comes due?
5
6
THREE STEPS
7
1. Set the month at the top and enter your starting balance in the first gold cell under Day 1.
8
2. Fill the gold cells. On the day each paycheck arrives, enter it under Cash In. On the day each bill is paid or purchase happens, enter it under the matching line. White cells calculate for you.
9
3. Watch the Ending Cash Balance row. It carries into the next day automatically, so you always see how much is truly available. A negative day turns red, which is your signal to act before it happens.
10
11
HOW IT IS ORGANIZED
12
Cash In holds your income lines. Cash Out is split into Fixed Expenses (rent or mortgage, loans, and cards, the bills that stay about the same) and Variable Expenses (fuel, groceries, utilities, and the rest). The Total column on the right adds up each line across the whole month.
13
Available Cash is your beginning balance plus that day’s income. Ending Cash is what is left after the day’s spending, and it becomes tomorrow’s beginning balance.
14
15
A SIMPLE DAILY HABIT
16
Spend a few minutes at the same time each day to log what came in and what went out, then glance at tomorrow. That short, steady habit is what turns guessing about how much cash is available into knowing, and it is the same money leadership discipline you practice once a month with your other tools, just brought down to the daily level.

18
PLAN AHEAD ON PAPER FIRST (RECOMMENDED)
19
You can also use this tool to map the full month out ahead of time. Enter your expected paychecks and known due dates day by day, and the running balance shows you any day that will come up short. If you spot a gap, you have time to move a due date, delay a purchase, or call a creditor to make payment arrangements while you still have options.
