1. Go to Mrs. Passaglia's room (S311) before your shift to get a cart that you can use to collect the recycling. You will also need to meet with her to get keys for the classrooms. She may be coming from

her downstairs classroom so please be patient.

2. Go to each classroom bin and collect materials.

***Check to make sure that there are no liquids in the bag and that none of the recycling has been contaminated by food and liquid.

If that’s the case, you should throw away anything that is wet or has food waste on it in a nearby trash can.

3. Keep track of which classroom you are taking a bin from if you plan on putting a bin on the cart to hold the papers.

4. Dispose of the materials in the recycling dumpster. It is located outside the loading dock doors and is the LEFT dumpster (marked with a recycling symbol).
