wordpress.orghosting charge applieshttps://wordpress.org/about/website providernot that easy. You also need to pay for domain hosting + domain. However, this is your biggest advertising platform. Make sure you get access to the content management part of the site. Some people use Wix or Squarespace. Me, i prefer wordpress because you get a whole heap of plugins that are reasonably cost effective. If you're want a free solution you can use Tumblr (free), wordpress.com or blogspot. But you won't get the functionality of a 'proper' website.Additional plug-ins I recommend:
- my book progress - free
- yoast - free
- a gallery plug in (I use Envira) - one off charge
- theme - one off charge. Make sure its mobile friendly.
- my website is www.rlstedman.com if you want to see how i set mine up.
