4 | The Sun Prairie Cardinals jumped out to an early lead on Waunakee and captured a 6-0 victory on Wednesday at Summit Credit Union Field. Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Cardinals to put the game away early. A two-run single by Ben Hauser and a sacrifice fly by J.P. Curran during the first inning and an RBI double by J.P. Suchamel and an RBI single by Justus Benson in the second inning helped the Cardinals put some runs on the board early. Benson went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish for Sun Prairie. Marquis Reuter held Waunakee hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six for the win. |
