Emma Sheppardmtptproject@gmail.com@maternityCPD1 hour workshopSchool Leaders - HTs and CEOs
Request to HTs and school leaders for feedback on The MTPT Project's pilot framework for awarding "Family Friendly Schools". The aim of the Family Friendly Schools Award is to improve working conditions in schools for all staff, particularly parents (fits into the "Ethical Leadership" theme.) We have already run our first pilot and are preparing for our second pilot in Summer 2020. The intention would be to secure a group of 10 school leaders by invitation, and then have an open sign up on the conference day for any other interested parties to attend. We will share our current processes with them and ask them to contribute their thoughts and suggestions from a leadership perspective - a working party to ensure that this award is effective and as good as it can be to benefit staff, particularly women and mothers, across the UK.
