Instructions:
14
Automated import into Quicken: https://www.aczoom.com/tech/import-prices-script-for-quicken/
15
This spreadsheet gets the current price for a financial asset, and this can be loaded into Quicken to update its Prices.
16
Make a copy of this spreadsheet. Set "Share" to Allow anyone to view with link.
17
Then use that URL, changing the final "/edit?usp=sharing" to "/export?format=csv and pass it in as /gcsv: option to the import script.
18
19
See the notes in the Current Quote and Quote Date cells for information how to get that column data using =GoogleFinance function.
20
Duplicate rows as needed. Edit the Google Symbol column only. Quote price and date columsn are automically calculated.
21
Google Symbol may be of form exchangename:ticker, example LON:ABD or CURRENCY:CADUSD
22
23
Note that the Download as CSV only works if GOOGLEFINANCE formula is not used for historical dates.
24
So the following will not work - it downloads as N/A values.
25
DateClose
Date cell has: =GOOGLEFINANCE("GOOG", "price", "11/1/2017", 7)
