I live in Southern Oregon, so my travel time is long and this often prevents me from being able to particpate in any meaningful way on the first and last day of events outside Oregon. I have absolutely no problem with all of my classes being lumped together back to back (it's actually easier on me that way!) as long as I get a few minutes break to eat every couple hours. I do need a bit of time between teaching and fighting to change clothes.

| Successfully Doing Arts & Sciences with ADD/ADHD: Tips From a Neurodivergent Laurel | 2 hours | Projector Friendly, Table and Chairs, Power | None | Lecture, Discussion | By actually accepting and accommodating the needs of the neuro-spicy brain we can (hopefully) avoid burnout by anticipating challenges and planning ways to overcome them. If we stop feeding those brain weasels and feelings of inadequacy there is no reason we can’t succeed …and even have some fun along the way! | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event and the classroom setup is compatible.) | https://drive.google.com/file/d/15DQ0mRmW2pmPTmqflQ8hn0v_7y2ZBq6s/view?usp=drive_link
| Landsknecht Layers: a Guide to 1530's German Fashion | 1 hour | Projector Friendly, Table and Chairs, Power | None | Lecture | If you want to try Landsknecht but are too overwhelmed or intimidated to start, this is the class for you! I will give a whirlwind tour of 1530's fashion (both men's and women's) that breaks down each element of the style. I will give you the do, the don't, and the options I found for design, plus pepper in construction and patterning tips to make you foray into this fascinating fashion as smooth as possible. | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event and the classroom setup is compatible.) | https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dzMhZo10R3tr-42mV59elVw0lGXJ7Ycj/view?usp=drive_link
| Pattern Tips for Fighting Kits (And General Fit Advice) | 1 hour | Projector Friendly, Table and Chairs, Power | None | Lecture | How do I make garb I can move in?! If you struggle with this you're not alone! Bodies are complicated, movement makes it worse, patterning is challenging, and there are not enough available resources to teach us what we need to know to make garb that fits well and doesn't restrict movement. As a professional pattern maker and a fighter, the intersection of combat and fashion is my passion. I distilled the most critical information I've gathered in my career into this crash course patterning comfortable clothes that look great and don't hold you back. | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event and the classroom setup is compatible.) | https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1WKI0866jCwIJmVpcKYfObp77QY8yBFMP/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=101040491497292420463&rtpof=true&sd=true
| Intro to Cut and Thrust Combat | 1 hour | Space to Move Around | None | Hands On | Do you feel like Rapier is too restrained and heavy is just too, well, heavy? Do you want to try out a third option somewhere in the middle? Allow me to introduce you to Cut and Thrust, the SCA's other OTHER combat style! Whether you're brand new or a seasoned fighter with a diffferent background, I'll answer all your questions about C&T. Examples of armor and weapons will be present to handle. If time, available gear, and space allow we may even fight a few passes! NON-FIGHTERS ARE WELCOME! I'm happy to help broaden the understanding of anyone interested in C&T for any reason. Knowing about the various activites done in the SCA is beneficial to Chatelaines, Event Stewards, Seneshals, and Marshals of other disciplines. I also support and encourage non-fighting marshals! | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event and the classroom setup is compatible.) | antirsca.sharepoint.com/sites/library/Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2Flibrary%2FDocuments%2FMarshallate Public Web Documents%2FRapier%2Fcut and thurst final draft with signatures%2Epdf&parent=%2Fsites%2Flibrary%2FDocuments%2FMarshallate Public Web Documents%2FRapier&p=true&ga=1
| Intro to RBGs: The Steel Fighter's Combat Projectile | 1 hour | Space to Move Around, Table and Chairs, Wall (enclosed space) | None | Hands On | Live your musketeer fantasy by trying your hand at an assortment of "Rubber Band Guns" built for SCA rapier and Cut & Thrust combat. I'll talk through the rules that govern this little-known weapon category and demonstrate the loading mechanisms of various makers before we do some target practice. Everyone will have an opportunity to shoot! If time allows we may also discuss "Offensive Bucklers" which are even more obscure! | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event and the classroom setup is compatible.) | https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GxoNuV3TcGvZ5VJRIEGSAa_-1quRo4Dy/view?usp=drive_link
| Gender Presentation on the Field: Tips for Dressing like a Lady While you Stab People | 1 hour | Projector Friendly, Table and Chairs, Power | None | Lecture, Discussion | It may be easier to just wear 'boy clothes' but some of us were not made to take the easy route! I believe it is critical that we as a community send a message that ALL are wlecome as they are no matter their gender identity. A big part of that message for me is helping people dress in persona appropriate attire that makes them happy. I don't have all the answers, but I have been building feminine fighting kits for years and have learned a lot through trial and error. I will share with you all the tips I've picked up for constructing chest protection, building battle dresses, discreetly disguising armor pieces, and even keeping your hair contained. | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event and the classroom setup is compatible.) | https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1b7zScXESl5z9OFVuE0lyY0LlUGx7S8Ji/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=101040491497292420463&rtpof=true&sd=true
| Under Represented Fighter (URG) Discussion | 1 hour | Space to Move Around | None | Discussion | Fighting in the SCA isn't just for cis men, though they do make up the majority of fighters in the SCA. If you want to learn more about fighting from the perspective of those of under represented genders, please join us for an interactive discussion. No prior knowledge/experience is necessarry. Conversation topics will vary depending on who attends, but no subject is off limits. We'll talk history (SCA and real world), we'll do armor show and tell, we'll talk about what to expect on and off the field, we'll answer questions (especially the weird and awkward ones), and sometimes we even get some weapons in hands and do a little training at the end! Note: we welcome cis male allies to attend and learn, but ask that they focus on listening and do not take part in the discussion (except when invited to ask questions) so we can keep the conversation centered on URG fighter voices. | 1 week (Assuming I'm going to the event)
