Celestron EdgeHD 11" OTA
1The main Schmidt–Cassegrain optical tube. 11" mirror and EdgeHD corrector plate. Ensure that the OTA lid is always on while not in use, and that the dust cover is on to prevent any dust from entering the tube. Do not attempt to clean the corrector plate without proper equipment and supervision.

Diagonal
1A diagonal reflects exiting the SCT back by 90 degrees. This can make eyepeice observation less awkward for the user for a large range of angles. Great for public observations!

The CGX mount
1The mount itself. Very heavy. Lift carefully with at least two people and always exhibit great care.

Mount-tripod screws and washers3There are three screws, three small washers, and three large washers used to attach the mount to the tripod. They go in the order: screw > small washer > large washer.

Counterweight shaft1A solid metal shaft used to attach counterweights. Screw in the shaft into the mount, and slide in the counterweights after unscrewing the stopper on the other end of the shaft. Screw the stopper back in.

8 mm Alan key1Stored under one fo the mount handles. Place back there after use.

CGX Tripod
1A very nice tripod. Comes with level markers on each of the legs. Always tightly screw on the sccessory tray before attahing the mount/adding more weight.

Accessory tray1Can screw in from the bottom of the tripod. Used to hold eyepieces and other small equipment.
