This document answers a question: "What item should I equip to get <Target Stat> with minimum loss of my current stats?"

For example, you want to get some extra Frost Resistance. You have 2 items that have Frost Resistance on it: a Bracers and a Ring.
If you spaw your DPS Bracers for FrR one, you will
get 10 FrR and lose 10 Strength.
If you swap your DPS Ring for FrR one, you will
get 15 FrR and lose 20 Strenth.

If yo want to choose most efficient one, you can calculate how much DPS stats you will lose per 1 point on bonus Frost Resistance.
Bracers: 10 STR / 10 FrR = 1.0
Ring: 20 STR / 15 FrR = 1.33

It means if you choose Bracers, you will pay
1 point of STR for 1 point of FrR, and for the Ring 1.33 points of STR for 1 point of FrR, which makes Bracers around 25% more effective.

To make it more clear, we can transform this into percents of effectiveness:
Bracers: (1/1.0) * 100 = 100%
Ring: (1/1.33) * 100 = 75%

Now it's pretty clear that the higher percentage we have, the more efficiently item converts your stats into desired stat.
This is literally what this document will do for you.

Quickstart
1. Go to "Database" tab and add all items you have equipped and an items you want to compare.
2. Go to "Gear" tab and select your equipped gear using dropdowns.
3. Go to "Main" tab and set weights of the stats that important for your build and stats you want to acquire. Set "Yes" in the "Target Stat" column in front of the stat(s) you want to acquire.

How to import items from WoWHead using Google Chrome Extension:
1. Open link at the top of the page and navigate to extension page. Add extension to your Chrome browser.
2. At the top-right side of the browser click on Extensions button, find "WoWHead GC Exporter by Tvat" and pin it to the extensions panel.
3. Navigate to the Classic WoWhead page of the item you want to import, e.g. https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=12640/lionheart-helm
4. Click on the extension's icon in the extensions panel (right from page's URL bar). It looks like a "W" letter.
5. In the middle of the screen will appear a small white panel. Just click green "COPY" button.
6. Go to the "Database" tab of this sheet. Find the first free row after existing items and select mostleft cell ("Slot" column).
7. Press Ctrl + V. Item's data should be added to the row.
8. Not all the items could be fully imported using this way. If items contains random stats, or if you want to add an enchantment, or in any other case when adding non-standard item, you may need to fill item's data manually into the columns with corresponding stats, or modify some added ones.

Example: You want to pick the best Frost Resistance gear for your Fury Warrior.
1. First, make sure all your DPS gear and all Frost Resistance gear you could use is added in the "Database" tab. If items is missing, add it yourself using the item's name, slot, stats and so on.
2. Open the "Gear" tab and set all your DPS gear using dropdowns.
3. Go to "Main" tab and set a stats weights for the Fury Warrior taking the values from
WoWGearPlanner, simulator or by your own. For example, 4 for STR, 2 for AGI and AP, 40 for Hit and Crit.
4. Now set the stat weight for Frost Resistance. This value could be decided by you just to make result data looks better for you. For example, you can set 3 for FrR.
5. Make sure all stats you don't need has 0 in the stat weight column.
6. Set "Yes" in front of FrR stat in the "Target Stat" column and set "No" for all other rows.
7. Make sure "Armor Filter" has "Yes" for all armor types you could use.
8. Look at the list on the "Main" tab. It will provide you all the FrR upgrades you could use from best (at the top) to worst (at the bottom). In "Bonus FrR" column you an see how much FrR you will get from this item, and in "Efficiency (%)" column you can see how effective this item will convert your DPS stats into Frost Resistance (e.g. 1 point of bonus FrR in exchange of 1 point of STR with same weights will show you 100% efficiency). If item is an upgrade for you and boost both your DPS stats and FrR, it will have "UP" prifex and abstract efficiency coefficient that could be used to compare different items between each other.

Tips:
- "UP" prifex in "Efficiency (%)" column means that item is an upgrade for you. In this case number after it means not an efficiency of conversion, but how much this item will benefit you when equipped.
- You can set negative weights to a stats on the "Main" tab, e.g. "-10". In this case it will be considered as unwanted stat and lower the score of an item.
- You can compare items using multiple "Target Stats".
- You can hide armor types from the suggestions using "Armor Types" settings menu.
- You also can hide items by selecting "---" on the Gear tab for a specific item slot.
- You can sort "Database" tab by selecting column you want to sort by and using Google Sheet's menu "Data" -> "Sort" option.
- For the dropdowns on the "Database" tab, you can remove the option by selecting cell and clicking "Delete" button. It will remove the selected option but will left dropdown itself untouched.
- You shouldn't change anything on "Calculations" and "Dropdowns" tabs.
- If item name on a "Database" tab selected in red, it means you have duplicated items included. You need to remove one of the items from the list.

Items Naming Recommendations:
1. While adding items to the "Database" tab, use real item's name to avoid adding duplicates.
2. For the items that could have same name but different stats, specify it's stat value in the brackets after it's name e.g. "Prismatic Band of Fire Resistance (21)". If tem has multiple different stats, specify them at the same order and separate using "/" symbol, e.g. "Prismatic Band of the Monkey (10/11)"
3. For the items that could be weared only by multiple classes, you need to add an item for each class. Specify class for which you adding the item in brackets after it's name e.g. "Highlander's Plate Spaulders (Warrior)" or "Highlander's Plate Spaulders (Paladin)". Use full class name like in the dropdown for "Class" column in the "Database" tab.
4. For the enchants's names use it in-game representations (how it is displayed on the item) eg. "All Stats +4", "Healing Spells +30", "Attack Power +26 and +1% Critical Strike".
If enchant's in-game representation starts with a "+" sign, skip the "+" sign in the enchant's name. E.g. instead of "+15 Fire Resistance" just write "15 Fire Resistance" ("+" sign at the start of the name will break the sheet)
5. If enchant can be applied to a multiple slots, specify slot that you want to use for comparison in the brackets after it's name, e.g. "+5 All Resistances (Shoulder)" or "+5 All Resistances (Back)". You may need to add same enchant multiple times to the "Database" tab if you want to compare it for multiple slots. Use the same slot names as in the dropdown for the item slot in the "Database" tab.
6. If you want to compare enchnated version of an item, add it's enchant after the name into the brackets e.g. "Cloak of the Shrouded Mists (+15 FR)"
