However, he said there were more that weren't marked at all, and there are 40 more that had a plaque with no writing on it or clearly a grave but with no markings there similar to the one he gestured to, so could be as high as 53? I just used the unidentified number for also (minimum) number of total migrant graves

Most of the graves are older, some are now, but not recent. Mostly after WII. At the end of the cemetery, under the three is one unmarked grave. According to the data given by Stambeno komunalnog gospodarstva Ogulin this is the grave of Mahmud Mohamad Barakat from Syria, born on 01/01/1992. Data was determined according to the registration documents issued in September in Trebinje and Ušivak. He died on 21/10/2019 in hunters home in Seočani in Drežnica. The presumed cause of death is related to diabetes. His burial on this cemetery was followed by a discussion at the city council (in December 2019, January and February 2020). Fares has helped arrange 20 refugee funerals in the wider Nord-Pas-de-Calais area and like Tourabi, he told Al Jazeera he felt duty-bound to help.
