This document is a shared version of the 2025/26 WA Coastal Calendar, which will allow all Clubs to share their events for approval by the WA Coastal Committee.

The approved information will be submitted to the Department of Transport (DoT) and to Fremantle Port Authority (FPA).

All Club events (e.g. dinghy, keelboat, kiteboarding, windsurfing, powerboating, fishing, cruising, training, both regular and special events) are to be entered into this spreadsheet. One event per line, even if they take place on the same day.

Please note: All approved applications from the 2024-25 Coastal Calendar remain included, in thier relevant tabs. These fields are now locked for future editing. Please commence your entries on either the METRO Coastal Calendar or the REGIONAL Coastal Calendar. The Calendar will be sorted chronologically when required.

WA Coastal Calendar

Instructions:1) Enter the date in the format DD/MM/YYYY

2) Do not edit the 'Day' field, this will populate from the date value entered in 1)

3) Enter the start and finish times in 24 hour time, in the style 09:00

4) Enter your Club name (start typing or select from dropdown menu)

5) Enter the event name

6) Select Coastal Zone(s) the event will take place in, please see https://www.sailing.org.au/wa/coastal-calendar/ for the document outlining the Definition of Coastal Zones. If you are in the Perth Metro area, you will need to consult the METRO Chart. If you are a regional club you will need to consult the REGIONAL Chart.

7) If your event is taking place in the Perth Metro area, you will need to check if it is taking place in FPA waters. If it is, please check the box in the colum marked FPA waters. This will automatically populate a spreadsheet which will be submitted to FPA for approval.

8) Enter the approximate number of vessels involved

9) Include any remarks and/or notes about the event or entry

Tips:Please DO NOT sift and sort data... e.g. you want to filter all particular date entries - Instead go to 'File', 'Download as' and select 'excel format'.
A better option is to 'CTRL-F' and do a find for a particular key word

Please note submissions in this document are due by 16 June 2025

All applications will be advised as approved on 23 June 2025

The Calendar will then be submitted to the DoT and FPA for final approval on 30 June 2025. Please note these events are not approved until the DoT and FPA has provided confirmation in writing. Confimation will be forwarded to all Clubs from both parties.
