1-7/98-WL&Sports10/12/1998 14th Meeting of postal Sports Board held on 30.10.98 at Bangalore - Changes affecting various gamesApplicable from 1999-2000:
1. Volleyball : The system of league and knockout to be adapted in All India Volleyball tournments
2. Carroms: 5th player may also be sent as reserve
3. Chess: The Circles should bring 2 chess clocks at the time of tournments
4. All India Cultural Meets: Duration of the cultural meet is increased from 4 to 5 days with the stipulation that no extra amount would be allocated for the purpose
5. Folk dance in All India Cultural Meets: The No. of participants may be increased from 6 to 8 subject to maximum No. of 14 participants in the All India Cultural Meet from a circle
6. Cultural Meet: The Circle should send a group of participants in advance to host circle. If any participant bring additional individual along with them, they may do so at their own cost & accommodation
7. No. of Accompanists: One accompanist is allowed with a cultural team. If one more accompanist is required, host circle will provide locally
8. Wrestling Championship: The duration of All India Wrestling Championship has been reduced to 5 days from 6 days
9. Spot entries in individual events: The spot entries are prohibited. The circles to send entries in advance in individual items
10. Outsider not allowed: The Circle should send group of participant duly countersigned by the DPS to host circle. If any outsider, the team as whole be disqualified
11. Participation of APS Personnel on deputation: Permitted as a part of parent circle, provided they do not participate in games organised by Services Sports Control Board.

1. 2 hours off for one month before All India Postal Cultural Meet for practice
2. Officials who participate in Group dance & dramas may be given time off during last 7 days on the same basis as is being given for coaching camps in games

6-11/02/WL-Sports12/12/2002All India Postal Sports Meets - Absence oi players in the functions1. The absence of the players, managers & coaches of the teams during closing ceremony of All India Meets will be noticed by invoking the provisions of administrative & disciplinary rules for violation of CCS Conduct Rules, 1954.
2. Responsibility for absence of players during the ceremonies should be fixed on the Managers and strict acrion be taken against them as well.
