Someone I care about is a foster mom and I would love to give back.

I would love to have the opportunity to volunteer for called to care to help out more in the community & as well as get more experience with helping children within foster care. I am also getting my degree right now in social work and would like to just get more involved and learn more.

I believe in the mission to help these children after everything they have been through.I want to be a part of making a difference.

I am an educator by profession and feel strongly about helping children through their journey of life. I am compassionate, understanding and believe all children should feel loved and safe in this world.

I have want have a positive impact on the children in our community

I believe that every child should be given a chance to flourish despite the circumstances out of their control. Every smile every positive interaction big or small can make a positive difference in that child’s life. Each child needs to know what it’s like to be loved and taken care of. All of this can positively make an impact in a child and change their outcome , help them to survive and in some cases help to break the cycle

My children are grown now and 3 are serving in the military. I miss being around children when I am not with my grandbaby. My best friend is a foster mom and I want to be a part of something that can help children/families in need.

Foster care has always been a ministry that I have been drawn to. Ultimately, the plan is that we become foster parents, but we are just not in that season yet.
I am an educational consultant, specializing in reading, personalized learning, and play based learning. I work with schools in Kendall, Grundy, and Will counties. In addition to the opportunities on the previous page, if there are any additional ways that I can use my expertise to support the organization I am happy to speak further.

I'd like to give back to others in the community in any way I can. I feel fortunate to me able to have some free time and I love to use it for the betterment of people around me and the community around me.

After being a single mom for 15 years I have raised amazing and successful children. However, they are now adults that don’t really “need their mom” anymore. I’m recently married and we are in our 50’s so not looking to be parents again, but I still have a lot of mom love to give and would like to put it towards children and families that need it most. I am en Executive Assistant to the Presidents of Aldi, Inc and have a lot of experience in event planning, organization and working with the community. I also have a Masters degree in Elementary Education that I have not used due to my decision to stay with Aldi for the past 18 years. I’ve been feeling the nudge to put these skills to use as well. Volunteering to help children and families sounds like the perfect way for me to be able to do this while still working full time in my current career.
