I love the effect 0:35, very nice touch! I think I get the jist of the story being Sasuke wanted to get better so he could match his older brother who was also his support etc. However the death battle was really too short and unclear, for instance. Why did it even happen in the first place? A non Naruto viewer would have no idea why he wanted to kill his brother, the battle itself (near the end) was also very unclear since you put in a lot of memory scenes. Pacing felt a bit slow at times with all the still shots but otherwise great feels and a great mood with some very good use of effects.

I can see what you were going for with this one, but I just don't feel like it quite works. Certain lyrics are synced well, but the meaning of the song as whole doesn't quite jive with what you portrayed with these two characters. Also, the song is upbeat and fairly light hearted, and I thought some of the stuff going on in this video was a little too heavy and serious, leaving me with just a super awkward feeling at the end. However, the editing is very smooth and I enjoyed of most of the effects.

I though this was going to be comedic. But it turned out to be a fairly serious character profile. Good amount of sentimental value as well. Though i felt the colour correction could have been more subtle it wasn't obnoxious and I like the attention to lyrics.

This was a very interesting video to watch. Due to the whole "Let's get fucked up and die" + "Ninjas that kill the shit out of people" combo I kept expecting it to go comedic and derp it up at any given moment. Then it didn't. It does a very good job of trying to give the viewer feels and connect on a sentimental level by really going after the lyric sync but it misses the tone of the song itself which I think builds even further to the awkward atmosphere. The song carries itself like a guy that can't help but laugh at a funeral. It knows that life sucks and things are bad but it can't help but find some kind of cynical hilarity in it all. While a different approach can sometimes give you in edge in this competition it can also backfire. I wouldn't say that this video is terrible or anything, far from it, it just doesn't really fit.
