This collaborative effort with U.S. Census Bureau is fostered to deliver educational training on Maryland populations. The training will provide resources and techniques to navigate the 2020 interactive data visualization. We are moving forward with designing quarterly brown bag series to support your educational pursuits of expanding access to new and emerging populations across the state. The Census is currently preparing a deep dive session on Narrative Profiles utilizing Quick Facts scheduled for October 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. EST.

Monday, September 22, 2025National Agricultural Statistics Service TrainingUME Faculty and StaffThis training will cover the information in the 2022 Ag Census summary for Maryland including information for each MD county/city, how to find Ag Census information on the NASS website, population changes, how NASS now captures young producers in its current dataset, and any additional information NASS thinks would be helpful for UME such as, if MD growers are more interested in particular crops, landscape changes, costs/price share concerns, what MD is facing as a result of climate changes, etc.
