If you want to be in the Sub 30-29-28-27-26 completionists, you need a video proof for every invasions and those scores have to be under the time of your goal (the highest score for sub 30 is 29"99 for example). If your PB is on the spreadsheet but you don't have a video proof, you'll need to record the invasion with video proof. To help the spreadsheet admins, you should do a YouTube Invasion PB Playlist with every video proof you have that can been seen anytime. On new gen, horizontal hovers are faster, and vertical hovers have a faster acceleration. Therefore, on invasions with large amounts of hovering, specifically 4-5 and 5-3, and in some dojo rooms, new gen consoles have a considerable advantage (up to 0.2 seconds). Due to the difficulty in comparing hover speeds across runs, and the overwhelming playerbase being on new gen consoles, different hover speeds are not accounted for in the rankings. This difference is minimal and was unnoticed until 2020; however runs on old gen have a 3 frame advantage due to this difference. Therefore, times set on new gen are adjusted to match those on old gen (for example, 23.76 would be adjusted to 23.71). This difference can be observed in the images below:The gameplay of Murfy Distance is completely different on Wii U and PS Vita because of the touch screen. The main player controls Murfy while the main character is played by a bot if there's not another player playing at the same time. On Wii U, it is possible to coop on Murfy Distance in Dailies and Weeklies Challenges. Scores set by this setup is completely allowed and will be counted like any Murfy Distance runs done on other platforms. In other cases, when the main character is a bot, the gameplay changes and its coding makes Murfy distance very hard to go far because it can't finish some sections with the intended way. The problems on Wii U and PS Vita are different and therefore there are 2 others categories for Murfy Distance.Different platforms run at different frequencies (either 60Hz or 59.97Hz). We consider the new gen timer the timers in the following consoles: PS4, XBO, Switch, Wii U, PC, PS Vita, Stadia. The game running on XB360 and PS3 have different IGT which is a reason of delaying by 1 frame for each periods. It's around every 10s for runs on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles but it's every 27s for runs for runs using the Backward Compatibility on a newer console.

If your score is a Pit Distance done in a Daily Challenge, a Weekly Challenge or in Training Room, you must show the end of your run with the lums counter. If your score is a Dojo distance done on PC, you must have a video proof showing your death (this includes the few seconds before your run ended). For Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3, the admins can decide to let your score or not if you a video proof showing your death. We only accept scores above 5km in Pit, 10km in Lands, 3km in Tower, 3k in Dojo and 10km in Murfy (the Murfy's Distance score can be done either on Wii U and PS Vita in solo or in (solo) coop or on other consoles where you control Murfy).There are very minor differences in falling acceleration on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. This difference may give XB360 and PS3 players a slight advantage with movements like groundpounds. However, very little information on this is present at this moment, and therefore this difference is not accounted for in the rankings. There are a few different exploits used in this invasion, all to do with the lava at the beginning of the invasion. The first one is delaying the cycle at the start of the invasion (there are different setups depending on the console you're playing on) and the second one uses the pause start trick which is only doable on new gen. Even though it makes runs more consistent on new gen, these tricks are allowed (however, the WR doesn't use neither of these tricks anymore).After reaching high distances in Pit distance, the game crashes. The freeze is very random but the distance where it's more likely to happen seem to depend on the console you play on. The order of power's console seem to be that way: PS3 < Switch < PC < XBO < XB360 < PS4 < Wii U. We do not have enough information to know how to rank PS Vita and Stadia. On Murfy Distance except on Wii U, it happens way sooner than normally. It happens from 65km and is more likely to happen after 98km. Finally there's a forced freeze at 131km. This is theorically caused by Murfy's AI path being glitched due to high distance glitches which cause distance innacuracies. Scores from 131km are considered tied if it is done on another platform that Wii U. The Wii U advantage is still accounted in the ranking and in the score. It seems that on Xbox 360 and PS3, the chain acts differently when you're coming to the right and you're facing to the left. You seem to be slower which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage depending on the situation. In 4-2 the player needs to stay a bit more on the chain so it makes lose time but in 3-2, this physic allow a faster setup for the next of the level. The difference is very minimal and we are not entirely sure this difference exists thus, this difference is not accounted for in the rankings.The debris at the beginning of the invasion is in a different spot on the Wii U versions of the game. There are no adjustments made to the rankings due to this difference. Also an exploit which gives you more boost in the run after doing a specific setup in the previous run (for example completing the invasion) and a glitch which allows you to move before the timer start are forbidden.On Stadia, your game will most likely crash if you try a distance challenge as soon as it starts. To avoid that, you have to put the ghosts off and you shouldn't have any problems. There are rare cases you can still play with ghosts but barely no one has succeded to do it. We are waiting you to join the community being on the several spreadsheets!On Switch (and maybe sometimes on Wii U in some levels) the further away you die from the checkpoint (or the start of the invasion), the more delay the beginning will be. Therefore, some time will pass and you'll start the invasion with a delayed cycle. This trick is not banned in invasions but this shouldn't be used for any World Records.There seems to be some differences between Xbox 360/PS3 and other platforms for the physics in this level, the most noticeable difference being the underenemy strat which is apparently much more consistent on these two platforms mentioned above. The strat is still doable on other platforms, although it must be done with joystick and it is much harder. On Xbox 360 and PS3, the longer time passes before you restart the level, the longest the next attempt will be. This makes reset cycle quite inconsistent. Switch reset cycles seem to also be random but there's not explanation found yet. This delay also allows to use it as an advantage such as delay the lava start like in 3-3. In any cases, this timer delay difference is not accounted for in the rankings.Using a keyboard as opposed to a controller, holding left when entering the 2nd and 3rd rooms will skip the walking cutscene, allowing you to start the rooms immediately. This saves 0.1 - 0.2 over runs that do not use this exploit. As this trick is currently only performable on a keyboard, and therefore only PC versions of the game, the exploit is banned.

On new gen, it is possible to pause before the level begins. If the pause is done in the first frames of the invasion restarting, the countdown will still be played while the invasion is paused. Therefore the cycle won't be triggered until you unpause. Although it is only doable on new gen, the few times it is being exploited there is still a way for old gen players to do it, therefore the trick is allowed.The Wii U version does not have an enemy in the 3rd room. There are no adjustments made to the rankings due to this difference.
