This Excel file contains estimates of occupational mobility and related series
4
as plotted/presented in the paper, "Reconciling Occupational Mobility in the
5
Current Population Survey," by Christian vom Lehn, Cache Ellsworth, and
6
Zachary Kroff.
7
8
The file is organized according to the data used in each plot of the paper.

NOTE: For users looking for a quick estimate of occupational mobility, the data for Figure 4 and Figure E.1
11
is most likely what you are looking for. The data in Figure 1 is raw data, uncorrected for measurement error
12
and the data in Figure 2 is estimated, but only for a subsample of workers who can linked (and thus didn't move).
13
Estimates of occupational mobility for the full March CPS Sample are most commonly what is sought after and
14
these are found in the data for Figure 4 (3-digit) and Figure E.1 (1, 2, and 3 digit).
