3 | Beta Club | Mrs. Dampier and Mrs. Brill | The organization is for 4th-5th graders that demonstrate academic achievement, character leadership, and service skills. Beta Club students will be selected based on the program's criteria and must maintain high achieving grades. Students will meet after school once a month on Wednesdays from 2:30pm-3:00pm. 4 | GT Art | Ms. Duty | 3rd-5th Grade students must qualify for GT art based on evaluations and will have the opportunity to participate in enriched art experiences afterschool on Mondays from 2:15pm-3:30pm. | ||||||||||||||||||
5 | Suzuki Strings | Ms. Acosta | Students in 1st-5th grades may register to learn to play the violin! Families must rent their child's instrument and send it with them to school each Monday. 7 | Good News Club | View Church and Nurse Powell | Parents must sign agreement to allow students to engage in Bible lessons. The first 30 students enrolled in grades 1st-5th will be able to join the club, which meets on Wednesdays from 2:15pm-3:15pm. | ||||||||||||||||||
8 | Hope Squad | Mrs. Traynham and Mrs. Beheler | Hope Squad is a peer support program where trained 4th and 5th grade students help identify and assist peers who may need a friend. Members are chosen by their peers through the demonstration of empathy and kindness, and they work under the guidance of Mrs. Traynham to promote a positive school environment, encourage open discussions about emotional health, and provide support to their classmates. | ||||||||||||||||||
9 | Flag Team | 5th Grade Teachers | Students put up and take down the US and State Flag each day, learn proper flag etiqutte, and become educated in half-staff observances. 5th Grade students are selected by their teachers to handle this responsibility at the start and end of each school day. | ||||||||||||||||||
10 | News Crew | Mrs. Donaldson | Our School News Crew is a team of student leaders selected by Mrs. Donaldson for their strong technology skills and leadership qualities. These students play an important role in capturing and promoting the life of CSF by gathering information, taking photos and videos, and helping produce our daily news program. Their work keeps our school community informed and celebrates the many exciting events and accomplishments happening throughout our building. | ||||||||||||||||||
11 | PBIS Managers | Mrs. Wyatt | Our PBIS Cart Managers are student leaders selected from our Student Council who help promote positive behavior throughout our school. Each morning before the school day begins, these students operate the prize cart, assisting their peers in shopping for items using the good behavior tickets they have earned. Through this role, they demonstrate responsibility, leadership, and a commitment to supporting a positive school culture. | ||||||||||||||||||
