VSYNC FixThis will fix DCS' unoptimized VSYNC mode and get you higher framerates1. Go to the NVidia Control Panel and into the "Manage 3D Settings" menu;
2. Open the Program Settings tab and select DCS from the dropdown menu;
3. Scroll all the way down, and set the Vertical Sync option to "Fast";
4. Open DCS, go to the settings menu and disable the in-game VSYNC option.
5. Done!

Antialiasing FixThis will fix DCS' unoptimized Antialiasing settings and bring you a sharper image for a much smaller fps hit1. Go to the NVidia Control Panel and into the "Manage 3D Settings" menu;
2. Open the Program Settings tab and select DCS from the dropdown menu;
3. Set "Antialiasing - Mode" to "Enhance the Application Setting";
4. Set "Antialiasing - Setting" to "2x";
5. Set "Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA)" to "On";
6. Now open DCS and go to the settings and enable MSAA to 2x as well;

Terrain Shadows FixThis will disable 3D shadows on the terrain, so there will only be flat ones, imrpoving your fps and looking about the same.1. Go to the settings menu inside DCS;
2. Set "Terrain Object Shadows" to "Flat";
3. Done.
This will make DCS render terrain shadows only on the terrain itself, not on
individual objects. This will improve performance a lot on some systems, and
does not make the game look as bad as with terrain shadows turned off.

GPU Power ModeThis will set the GPU to prefer maximum performance rather than minimum power consumption, therefore increasing it's processing power and improving FPS.1. Go to the NVidia Control Panel and into the "Manage 3D Settings" menu;
2. Open the Program Settings tab and select DCS from the dropdown menu;
3. Scroll down to the "Power Management Mode" option;
4. Set it to "Prefer maximum performance";
5. Done!
