Dear Viewer,
This spreadsheet summarizes several investments and activities that governments and civil society are implementing or supporting to address gender-based violence during the COVID 19 pandemic globally. At this point we have no data on how effective these initiatives are, but we hope this a useful tool for advocacy and brainstorming, as well as a catalyst for learning between low and middle income countries. The sheet is complied by the World Bank Gender Team. The document is “live” and therefore updated regularly. To send in an example, please email vawg@worldbank.org and include a publicly available link to a press release or news article that describes the initiative.
