In keeping with the L-S Core Value of respecting human differences, we would like to acknowledge and prepare for those times in the school year when many students, staff and their families are observing and participating in cultural and religious activities. When school remains in session, or when holidays occur over a weekend, we ask that all staff plan well in advance so that homework, assignments, or projects that are due do not put any student in any conflict between their religious observation and schoolwork.
