VERY IMPORTANT: Our online brackets are always the most accurate. If you print your brackets,
always, always double check the online version (on phone, tablet, or computer) before heading to the gym.

Please Note: We will do our best to note (in the brackets) any changes that are made after brackets have been made final (January 27th.)
Also if any changes are made after midnight January 28th we will do our best to contact coaches involved in the change.
That being said, it is still your responsibility to double check brackets online before heading to a gym.

A KEY part of NCHBC is our immediate score updates to brackets.
In order for this to happen coaches (or whomever they appoint)
MUST report the game scores right after the game is over.

TEXT SCORES to 405-266-3686

PLEASE use the following format when Texting scores:
1. List the District Location (Houston, Fort Worth, etc.)
2. Gender w/ Age and then BRACKET Title (ex. Boys 16u D1 3A)
3. Team name w/ score vs Team name w/ score

Example: WICHITA District B14u San Juan Rams 66 HECHA 59

Top of Bracket or Listed 1st, keeps official book, provides game ball, wears white or light uniform, leads open prayer
and TEXT SCORES

Bottom Bracket or Listed 2nd, does official clock, wears dark uniform,
and TEXT SCORES

Basketball Size:

Boys 12-18 age divisions use a boy’s basketballs. All others use a 28.5 size basketball.

All age groups play on 10 foot goals.

Pre Game Prayer:

Before each game both teams will meet in the middle for a pre-game prayer.

Quarter Length:

18u- 8 Minute Quarters// 16u- 7 Minute Quarters// 14, 12u, & 10u- 6 Minute Quarters

Warm Up, Halftime, & OT Info:

6 Minute Warm-up// 4 Minute Halftime// OT is 4 minutes for 18u,
3 minutes for all other age groups

Running Clock:

When one team has a 30 point lead in the 4th quarter, a running clock rule is instituted.
Teams are highly discouraged from full court pressing with a 30 point lead.

5 Total timeouts (three full & two :30), 1 additional per team in OT

Overtime (OT) Info:

OT is 4 minutes for 18u & 3 minutes for all other age groups. In OT both teams get 1 additional timeout

Noisemakers & More:

We honor facility rules, if allowed by facility they are permitted

Sportsmanship is always encouraged by all parties.

Parents or adults should never correct or confront the opposing team's
players, fans or children.

Teams may shoot during halftime of the game before your game,
if your team is in uniform and teams playing are not using the court.

Under no circumstances should fans and children being shooting at half time.

NCHC Ejection Policy:

If a coach, player or fan is ejected* from a game by an official
or NCHBC tournament staff, the following four items must happen:

1. The ejected person must leave the facility immediately
NOT just the gym but the facility.

2. Notify your Program Director (AD...)

3. Within 2 hours the Head Coach or Program Director must notify NCHBC headquarters by
emailing rob@flattmail.com about the ejection within two hours.

4. The person ejected is ineligible to attend the next game for that specific team. No exceptions.

Failure to comply will result in potential additional penalities
to individual, team, and program that could extend into future seasons.

*This includes but is not limited to: receiving two techincal fouls.
