Bake Shop Camp5 - 10Open your very own Bake Shop during this special week of camp! Campers will create and build their own faux sweet treats and baked goods using materials such as clay, felt, fabric, and have access all week to our signature buffet of colorful, shiny, embellishments and supplies. The week ends with turning the studio into a food-hall-style-bakery for our art show with each camper naming and creating their very own shop... come hungry for faux cakes, donuts, and cupcakes galore! (A note of clarification: we will not be doing any baking during this camp, but rather making art that looks like delicious bakery treats ;)9am - 12pm9am - 12pm

Birthday Camp6 - 10Happy Birthday tooooo….. you, and you, and you, and you! We will have a fantastic and hilarious week of birthday celebrations including painting a giant cake, making clay treats that look good enough to eat, and so much more fun playing the week away with all kinds of birthday celebrations! We’ll even calculate what each camper’s birthday is this week... Wait, did you forget?! Happy 7 years, 8 months, and 16 days Birthday!! This will be a week of fun colorful awesomeness. Castle Camp6 - 10Calling all dragons, fairies, kings and queens, witches and wizards! During this very special week of camp, every camper receives a wooden castle ready to be designed, painted, furnished, and played with! We will be architects, engineers, designers, and builders this week. Add wallpaper, build light fixtures, rugs, and virtually anything you can imagine with access to our massive buffet of materials to tinker with! Dino Camp!4.5 - 7Hey Dino Fans! We made this camp just for you! πŸ¦– Join us for a week full of dinosaurs as we make wearable dinosaur feet, erupt volcanos, make fossils, a special dinosaur egg, and so much more in this magical week. We'll have tons of fun stomping, pretending, and playing this week as we travel back in time to the Mesozoic Era!

Drawing 101: tips & tricks7 - 11Love drawing and finding that you don't know where to start or that the process can feel a little overwhelming? Join us this week to learn all sorts of tips and tricks. Each artist has skills in their toolbox that makes drawing feel more accessable. This week we will both try out methods like grid drawing and using a light box, as well as learn some plug-and-play options to draw characters and animals. Fashion Design Camp8 - 12Unleash your inner fashion designer! Campers will create their own fashion design kits for a 9" mannequin to test and wear, including fabulous fabrics, pins, velcro, and plenty of accessories. We'll explore how to plan and design pieces, as well as create functional wearable art pieces for ourselves like scrunchies and iron on patches to add to your favorite jacket, jeans, or backpack. Fired Up!8 - 12Experience the magic of the pottery wheel! We'll spend the week learning the basics of wheel throwing and advancing our skills with techniques such as altering our wheel thrown artwork. Each student will work on their own pottery wheel and at their own level. Beginner or continuing pottery students welcome. This camp is held Clay Hub, our brand new, gorgeous pottery studio! GLAZE CLASS: Attendance at an additional Glaze Class after camp ends is required. See more info at the bottom of this spreadsheet for your specific Glaze Class date and time. POTTERY PICK UP: All pieces will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after your Glaze Class. You will receive an email when your pottery is ready for pick up. Flipbooks and Optical Illusions*8 - 12Don't miss this super fun week of drawing with a twist as we dive into flipbooks and optical illusions! Flipbooks are one of the original forms of animation! We will use flipbooks to develop a character or an image, and learn how to make minor changes to create an animated flipbook using mini LED lightpads and special flipbook paper. In addition to flipbooks, campers will explore ways to trick our eyes with optical illusions. Get ready for a week of drawing and fun!1pm - 4pm1pm - 4pm

Glow in the Dark Art Camp*5 - 10Glow. in. the. Dark. Art. Camp! (Should we just stop there?) This popular week of camp is one for the record books, and we're already counting down the days! Using neon art materials and black lights, we will transform our studio into a glowing art gallery. In this super fun week of camp, we'll make our own glow-in-the-dark hats, slime, glowing canvas paintings, sea creature, and so much more as we play with bright colors all week long! The best part? This week's artwork will stand out in the light with the bright neon colors, AND glow to brilliant other-wordly levels under black lights! We'll turn black light fixtures on in the studio each day, and students will also go home with their own personal black light LED flashlight to show off their amazing work! A note about black lights: black lights emit UV-A light, which is the safest of all UV wavelengths. We will teach black light safety (not staring directly into the black light bulbs) and only spend short periods of time with our black lights on.1pm - 4pm9am - 12pm

Hobby Horse Camp!6 - 10🐴 Get ready to mount your horse and go for a ride!! In this fabulous week of camp, we'll make our very own Hobby Horse -- (parents, if you're not familiar, these were the stick horses of our childhood and have made a major resurgence, understandably so! ;) -- that you'll learn to ride, and even take outside onto a course! In addition to making our own pony, we'll spend plenty of time outdoors riding our horses this week over mini jumps and through obstacles. We'll also paint a portrait of our new horse, and have tons of fun naming it and creating artwork for and inspired by your new pony all week long! Don't miss out on this super special week of camp!

Jewelry Making8 - 12Learn to make your own jewelry in this special week of camp focused on the art of jewelry design. We'll work with clay to make pendants and a jewelry dish, use gorgeous beads in bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, and even experiment with metal stamping to make truly unique works of wearable art.

Make & Match: Doll Camp5 - 9Back by very popular demand, this camp is SO GOOD! After registration, you'll choose from our selection of 18" dolls, and then get to meet them on the first day of camp! The week will be spent making matching t-shirts (one for you, one for your doll!), headbands, jewelry, and other accessories! At the end of the week, you'll take everything home, including your new doll. This crazy fun week of camp is SUCH a blast. Make & Play3.5 - 5Come play at Tinker! During this fun 2-hour camp for our youngest* Tinkerers, we'll explore sensory materials, create, paint, and play the morning away! Make & Play is 1 part art and 1 part play (including outdoor play on the patio) for the perfect week of summer camp.

We will use a variety of materials including clay, wood, wire, cardboard, paper and more to create dioramas, small rooms and a ton of tiny embelishments.. think tiny books, tables, food and more. Realistic Drawing9 - 13We will be exploring how to draw people, animals, and nature using both traditional and contemporary drawing techniques with media such as pencils, pen and ink, charcoal, and more. Robot Art Camp5 - 8πŸ€– Beep boop bop! This camp week is all about robots! Using a variety of different materials we will be making robots each day, and of course having fun playing with them too. Campers will create both robot sculptures, as well as kinetic robots including Scribble Bots and Wind Up Bots. We'll take a break from building and paint a canvas inspired by our new robots as the subject, and have plenty of time for open ended art making and exploration this week. Rocks & Crystals*6 - 10Do you love rocks and crystals? Because we do! πŸͺ¨ And we want to hang out and make art about them all week long! We'll kick off our week by making a functional wall hanging display case for your most precious rocks and crystals. Next, we'll deck out magnifying glasses before we crack open our own geodes and use the crystals inside as inspiration for a watercolor painting. Sticker Studio7 - 11Do you love stickers? If so, you've gotta sign up for this one. (Honestly, even if you're luke warm on stickers, you'll still love this week!) You'll have full access to our massive sticker buffet, and spend the week making sticker vision boards, collages, embellishing pages and artwork with stickers, and even designing your very own custom sticker. After honing in on your idea, and creating your artwork, we'll digitize it and send it to the professional printer we use for all of our stickers! We'll print 10 high quality vinyl stickers for you, and send them to you in the mail as soon as we get them in, just a couple weeks after camp ends. Then share them with friends, stick them on your water bottle, bike, or other favorite place to show off your work! Stuffie Accessories Camp6 - 10Do you love your stuffies as much as we do?! If so, this camp is for you! The star of the show this week is your favorite stuffie who even gets to come to camp with you all week long! We'll be making your stuffie a sleeping bag and a PJ shirt to make sure they're cozy at night. Then we'll also deck them out with daytime accessories like a hat, accessories, and their own bag. This camp -- full of rainbows, unicorns, glitter and glam -- is sure to delight as we bring together our brightest, most colorful, and super fun projects! We'll make a giant colorful rainbow ready to brighten up any space, create a rainbow prism suncatcher, a wearable unicorn horn headband and rainbow mane, learn to paint a unicorn (or foxicorn, frogicorn or another unicornified animal of your choice!), and lots more rainbow and unicorn inspired art all week long!

Tinker @ BMoCA: Swifties Camp*7 - 11πŸ“£ Calling all Swifties!! Let's make the most of your summer camp era! ✨ In this sparkly week of art, we'll make glammed out (faux) microphones, and beaded friendship bracelets galore! Campers will take their room decor to the next level, making a custom jumbo friendship bracelet garland, with the word of their choice at the center. We'll also decorate our own real vinyl record, and turn it into a functional wall hanging with display hooks. And of course... with Taylor Swift music playing all week, we're sure at least a handful of spontaneous sing alongs will fill the studio too! 🎀 Don't miss this super fun week of camp!

In our fifth summer of partnership with BMoCA, we can tell you, these camps are amazing! We spend our days in the stunning upstairs studio above the museum, and get to make art in community while being inspired by our surroundings and the contemporary artists' work on display. Each week includes a museum tour, and each day includes snack and break time outdoors on the large grassy lawns in front of the museum. Tinker @ Lafayette: Puppy Camp*6 - 10Adopt your own puppy!!! That's right, each camper will go home on Friday with a NEW PUPPY *stuffy* πŸ˜‰! In this crowd favorite camp, we'll spend the week making sure your new playmate has a cozy puppy blanket, leash and collar, toys to play with, and of course a water and food bowl. You don't want to miss this super fun week of camp, so go ahead and register and then start thinking about your puppy's name!

Tinker @ Lafayette: Rainbows & Unicorns*5 - 9Do you love all things rainbow 🌈 and unicorn πŸ¦„?! This camp -- full of rainbows, unicorns, glitter and glam -- is sure to delight as we bring together our brightest, most colorful, and super fun projects! We'll make a giant colorful rainbow ready to brighten up any space, create a rainbow prism suncatcher, a wearable unicorn horn headband and rainbow mane, learn to paint a unicorn (or foxicorn, frogicorn or another unicornified animal of your choice!), make our own flip sequin fabric fidget boards, and lots more rainbow and unicorn inspired art all week long!

Tinker @ Lafayette: Rocks & Crystals*6 - 10Do you love rocks and crystals? Because we do! πŸͺ¨ And we want to hang out and make art about them all week long! We'll kick off our week by making a functional wall hanging display case for your most precious rocks and crystals. Next, we'll deck out magnifying glasses before we crack open our own geodes and use the crystals inside as inspiration for a watercolor painting. We'll also explore buidling rock sculptures, and so much more during this fantastic week of camp! ✨

GLAZE CLASS: So that we can work on the wheels all 5 days, attendance at an additional afternoon Glaze Class back in the studio is required in order to glaze all pieces made during camp. Glaze Class is included in the price of this camp, and is generally held the week after your camp (on Wednesday from 4:15-6pm). Please find your Glaze Class date from the list to the right -->

POTTERY PICK UP: All pieces will be fired in the kiln after glazing (with dinnerware safe glazes), and ready for pick up 2 weeks after your Glaze Class. You will receive an email when your pottery is ready for pick up. Please plan to promptly pick up your pottery as we have limited storage space. Pottery will be held for 3 weeks after your pick up email is sent.
