The website advertised a free version with "quickstart" which implied a demo so I downloaded the zip file but when I uploaded it to the test site, it didn't work because it was missing the CSS stylesheet.

This is an Elementor-based theme. They deliver on the demo content. There's a paid upgrade but they don't skimp on the free version at all. You get what you see in the live demo. The only weird thing I didn't like is that they renamed the site name as the theme name. Kind of a weird override.

The partial demo content is ugly. I would not use this theme.

This theme does not have a demo of the free version (well, it does, but the link leads to some other theme). There is only a premium demo. Otherwise, the only demo of the free version is via the repository, which matches what it looks like when you install it.

This theme isn't technically empty, but it might as well be. The partial content it comes with is super simple and has almost no value. It's basically almost like an empty theme, just "technically" isn't.

The imported demo content is identical to the live preview. They are also very transparent about having a paid version and how it's different. The theme itself is also very nice. Highly recommend this one.

This is an Elementor-based theme. It has some extra steps involved and I did get some errors but in the interest of speed, I also didn't edit my PHP file with a string of code they asked me to add in order to avoid potential errors. Overall, if you ignore the errors, the demo content and layout are nice. You'll just need to spend some time possibly troubleshooting.

This theme is okay. The demo import is a bit weird because one of the recommended plugins isn't available, but you can get everything to import according to the live demo. I find the theme somewhat ugly though so I wouldn't recommend it.

This has a bit of a cumbersome install process. It's not smooth at all and if you're a newbie it could feel confusing. Basically you install the plugins first. Then using the importer, you can download the zip file which contains 3 other files inside of it. You have to unzip the file and then use the import plugin to upload each of the 3 files separately into each of their own areas. The areas are labeled so it's not terribly difficult to figure out, but could feel intimidating for beginners. The demo content itself looks nice though and the theme overall is appealing.

Waste of time. You install 4 plugins, which include the demo importer, only to be shown a dashboard that shows you that the demo is premium only. The actual theme is a blank shell with a header menu.

Overall decent theme. Not one of my favorites on the list but it delivers on the demo content. It's not hideous, but it's not the nicest looking either.

Waste of time but this one didn't feel 100% misleading. It's not crystal clear that you won't get the demo content, but you can figure it out. For example when you click on the live demo, the URL of the demo has "pro" in it and makes it obvious that you're looking at the pro version and not the free version.

This one doesn't install the demo properly. I tried it on both WP Sandbox and TasteWP and it looked like trash on both of them. I would not install this theme.

Definitely not worth it. The free version just gives you a homepage and the homepage header menu is all messed up looking so you have to fix it but there's no point in fixing it because there are better themes out there.

This theme installs 11 plugins as part of the setup process which is just way too much bulk overhead in my opinion. And it renames your site name to the name of the theme, which is dumb. On the plus side, the demo content isn't just the homepage but the entire site so it really does give you quite a head start for a free theme. I would personally skip it, but I can see the appeal in someone wanting to use it.

If you like Elementor then this might be a go. It has a lot to offer. I just don't like working with Elementor so I wouldn't recommend it, but if you do like it, then it's solid.

I could not get the starter site demo to import. I tried twice on two different instances of TasteWP and it just stayed stuck on the loading screen. This also seems like another Elementor based theme so that's a turn off for me.
