ipad not effective because not everyone is using it, whiteboards are unclear for effectiveness, calender is effective for access to all users & OneNote is a new implementation so the effectiveness is undeterminedHow Administrators Think about Technology, Hopefully hear something we did not expect

Team 3Jennifer, Morgan, Anavarathanuse it, responsible use (principal has a facebook, district has a facebook), email access, newsletters (communcation) (one way, two way, three way communicaiton. collaborative teaching, tracking completion of classes- section by section, grading, Project work- if there are sections that have delays, metrics (why is there a delay in progress), determining where teachers are strongest.always room for improvement. postive and negative (reading email during meetings), must create rules for useI hope to get if we can be given a few case studies of best practices..I hope to gain some leadership ideas for the use of technnology.Examples of successful implementation.

Team 4Eric, Chris, AllisonNot much evidence at Chris school; instructional leader; empower faculty to use data for decision making and day-to-day business of school; use of dropbox for traditional binder materials; PD registration and differentiation of topics via google forms; Books studies being conducted on iPad with digital copies via Kindle;schools are showing evidence of improvement; administrators are modeling and supporting internet uses; students are also engaging with mobile devices and admin are demonstrating best practices/ethicsmore proficient with use of technology; more ideas of what other people are using; insight to administrative roles in K12 settings; learning more about how integration practices are being facilitated

Team 5Staci, Kim, SamanthaPowerpoint for meetings, school app for parents, 150 ipads for 1-1 middle school students, ipad for walk thrus, google docs for observations, use goto meetings for webinarsAdmin doesn't use powerpoint effectively, uses too much info on screen.  they don't revise information to fit school's needs.Ways to help them to better communicate with staff through technology to allow for less meetings and better trainings.

Team 6Zena, AldekaUsing Google Docs to share weekly memos and create sign-up forms.It is ideal for documentation, but there is hardly any tech modeling regading what is expected from teachers in the classroom.feasible ways to get administrators involved in using technology, how to model it for teachers to encourage their use of it.
