1.
Competition manager
4
The competition managers are allowed to make exceptions to the regulations, and their decisions are final.
5
When a team does not agree with a decision of the competition managers, that team should contact the board of ESEV Zephyr within 48 hours.
6
The competition management consists of midnooid (Damian Thijs, thijsdamian@live.nl, 0639112561), Swingende Mango (Boy Egbergen, boy.egbergen@hotmail.com, 0636516411) and Go4Jaguar (Mark Cornelissen, mark.cornelissen@home.nl, 0648275364).
7
Note that casters are not competition managers and are thus not responsible for fixing problems.
8
9
2.
Payment of enrolment fee
10
The enrolment fee is between 10 and 15 euro for each team. For each Zephyr member in the team 2 euros should be payed and for each non-Zephyr member 3 euros should be payed, to a maximum of 5 players.
11
If a team has both Zephyr and non-Zephyr members, the costs will be calculated as favourably as possible for each team. For example:
12
13
A team with 4 Zephyr members and 4 non-Zephyr members: They pay 11 euro, because there are 4 Zephyr members and the cost of one additional non-Zephyr member has to be added to get 5 players.
14
15
The enrolment fee has to be payed by the captain of each team (or, in consulation with the competition managers, by one of the other players of the team), no later then Monday 12 november at 15:00 (in 2018).
16
The enrolment fee has to be transfered to the following bank account number:
17
NL05 INGB 0007 0900 48 attn. ESEV Zephyr, with subscription: 'Entrance money LoL Tournament + Team name'
18
When this has not been done a penalty will follow, for example exclusion from prizes, disqualification of the team, or exclusion from future Zephyr tournaments.
19
20
3.Prizes
21
The full amount of the enrolment fees will be used for the prizes. There will certainly be physical prizes and potentially monetary prizes as well.
22
Note that the physical prizes will be for 5 players per team.
23
There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams.
24
25
4.Live Final
26
The live final will be played on the 2nd of June at 13:00.
27
The finals will be played in Luna on the TUe Campus. The match should be played at location, however if special cases arise this can be discussed with the competition managers.
28
It is possible to spectate the live finals, as there is a room in Luna (1.050) reserved to watch the livestream.
29
When a team that has to play the finals is not available on the standard time and day, then that team loses the right to participate in the finals.
30
When this is the case, the third or fourth team will take over the right to participate in the finals.
31
When this is also not possible, the other team wins by default.
32
33
5.
Format group stage
34
All matches will be played in Tournament Draft, Summoners Rift mode.
35
During the group stage, every team will play a Best of Two against the other teams in the same group
36
Therefore, the score can be: 0-2, 1-1 of 2-0. You get points equal to the number of wins.
37
The external program Prodraft must be used for the draft phase, unless both teams agree not to use it.
38
The upper seed in the bracket will be playing on blue side for the first match, and red side for the second match.
39
Seeding will be based on average rank. For example teams with average ranks plat 1, dia 4, plat 4 and gold 1 will be placed such that the dia 4 and plat 4 team is in one poule and the plat 1 and gold 1 team in the other poule.
40
41
6.

42

43
The semi finals and 3rd place will be Best of Three.
44
The finals will be Best of Five.
45
When a team cannot play the 3rd place match or the finals on the standard time, that team will automatically forfeit the match.
46
The external program Prodraft must be used for the draft phase, unless both teams agree not to use it.
47
The upper seed in the semi finals will get side selection for the first match then every following match the other team will get side selection.
48

Confirmation of the results
62
The winner of each game must send a screenshot of the post-game lobby to the competition manager. For a 1-1 result both teams must send screenshots of their respective wins.
63
The screenshots must be sent to Damian Thijs, thijsdamian@live.nl or whatsapped to 0639112561
64
In the case of disagreement about results, the screenshots will be an important asset to determine the score.
65
66
9.Tiebreakers
67
When two teams have equal amount of points, then first the matches played between these teams will be checked.
68
If this results in a 1-1 score between the teams, then a tiebreaker will be played.
69
The tiebreaker will be one match played on Summoner's rift, Tournament mode.
70
When more than two teams are tied, or when the tiebreaker cannot be played, the competition managers will determine case-by-case how the tiebreaker is determined.
71
72
10.
Sending line-up
73
In case a team requests your line-up within 48 hours before the first match, you have 24 hours before the first match to send the captain of the opposing team your line-up.
74
This line-up consists of every player who is going to participate in the matches and the roles they will be playing. This includes available substitutes for the matches aswell.
75
We do this to give each team a decent amount of time to scout the opponent.
76
77
11.
Changing standard time/date
78
In case a team is not available on a certain time/date they can move the match to another time/date
79
This has to be agreed upon by both teams and MUST be approved by the competition management.
80
If this is the case you have to contact the the opposing team and competition management 24 hours before the start of the match.
81
82

83
If one of the two teams is not complete at the time agreed upon(without sufficient reason), then the incomplete team will lose a ban every 5 minutes.

93
The second match must be played within 1 hour of the starting time of the previous match.
94
If this is not the case the same penalty system as listed above will be used.
95
96
11.
Adding substitutes after the start of the tournament
97
By consulting the competition managers it is possible to add substitutes under the following conditions:
98
1. The maximum of 2 substitutes per team applies. If you already have 2 substitutes, you are allowed to replace one substitute by another, but this MUST be discussed with the competition managers!
99
2. The substitute may not be a part of another team in the tournament.
100
3. Adding substitutions after the tournament started also has a cost, which is 3 euro per substitute and has to be paid 24 hours before the start of the first match played by that team.
