NOTES / COMMENTS / QUESTIONS
44
Wow -- Based on all of Heather's comments, it sounds like she wants her very own design :). I do like Heather's comments about starting with the number '0' (is 0 a number?) in the middle then moving outward, left and right. My ideal would be a clear plastic ruler so that I can see underneath it where I am adding a line or shape, and know that I'm adding the stuff in the right place. Then again, plastic is breakable. I wonder about the 90 degree corner poking holes in all of my stuff; unavoidable as that 90 degree corner is necessary.
The hole for the bookmark ribbon could also be big enough to hang on a brad or hook. This could also be the same as the finger hole and make it higher and integrate the pin/pen pivot into the line of compass holes

This looks like it was designed by an engineer. I vote that aesthetics should be considered.
46
The holes for the compass feature could be metric to save space. And keeping them in the middle will help with center measurements.
47
Do you want to include angle marks? 45, 30, 60…
48
Meh, I just described the Imbue in my notes. Maybe I should stick with that ;)
49
You could include a visual index on the back (engraved) for ideas around embellishments, etc.
50
Consider a center ruler 3,2,1,0,1,2,3 rather than 1,2,3…
51
52
Trent’s idea to make a clear ruler is a good point. It could easily be laser cut in plexiglass and the 90 degree corners could have rounded edges.
