ResolvedNat Sakimuraopenid-logo-guidelines.pdf is goneVia Slack. When I input openid-logo-guidelines.pdf in the search box, I get redirected to the membership site. Smells like some kind of input validation error is happening. (It could be a security hole.)Design FactorySee point 2)

ResolvedNat SakimuraLink to the https://openid.net/ipr/openid-logo-guidelines.pdf is dead.Via Slack. It should not happen. CoolURIs never changes. By the way, this link was available from “Intellectual Property” menu in the old site.Design FactoryThe direct-pdf-link got obsolete during the content updating, thus not being used originally on the new page.

We added the .pdf back to the file repository with following links:
https://openid.net/openid-logo-guidelines.pdf
https://openid.net/ipr/openid-logo-guidelines.pdf
https://openid.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/openid-logo-guidelines.pdf

Changed Link at openid.net/policies at section „OpenID Logo Guidelines“ back to the pdf.

ResolvedNat Sakimurahttps://openid.net/policies/ page does not provide Directed Funding Policy, Trademark Usage Policy, Website Privacy Policy, National Chapters PolicyVia Slack. Mike LeszczThe referenced policies are appearing on that page for me. They follow the "Organizational Documents" and start with the Directed Funding Policy and FAQ. I checked links and all work except for https://openid.net/ipr/openid-logo-guidelines.pdf under "OpenID Logo Guidelines" (per Nat's comments above).

Phase 2 EnhancementBjorn Hjelmhttps://openid.net/wg/modrna/Via email. Could the list of previous working group (workshop) presentations be moved to the Specifications page (under Resources)? I would like to keep the main working group clean and only display the most recent working group update.Mike LeszczThe goal was to create a common template across all WG pages so that it was a consistent experience for the end user across all groups. During the review process, it was decided "Updates and Presentations" was best on the group landing page. If there is consensus across the groups that "Updates and Presentations" are best published on the "Specifications" pages, then I can make that content change across all groups. In addition to standardarizing the WG template aross all groups, we should allow Google Analytics to run for a few months (at least 3 months) and revisit how users are entering/existing the site and their overall journey, session times, bounce rates, etc. - Carla R

Phase 2 EnhancementBjorn Hjelmhttps://openid.net/Via email. You've to scroll down to find events and it's more cumbersome than previously when this was part of the drop-down menu. Any way this can be modified to make it easier to find?Mike LeszczI recommend we add this to the Phase 2 enhancements list for consideration. - Mike Leszcz - As above, Googlel Analytics for 3 months before we make material changes - Carla R

Phase 2 EnhancementBjorn Hjelmhttps://openid.net/presentations-media/Via email. Related to the previous events (such as workshops), I don't see the joint OIDF-GSMA workshops listed in the Events anymore.Mike LeszczPlease see: https://openid.net/presentations-media/. There are dead links that we are working through and I will cross reference old list with current list to ensure all events are there. There were quite a few events that have dead external links that may not be able to resolved.I recommend we add this to the Phase 2 enhancements list for consideration. - Mike Leszcz - As above, Googlel Analytics for 3 months before we make material changes - Carla R

Phase 2 EnhancementCertification Teamhttps://openid.net/certification/Discuss opportunity for mirrored certification listings that we can rollover to if site goes down (cert listings "always on")During the website migration, there was displeasure expressed when the certification listings were not available which is a valid issue. Discuss with cert and DF teams to come up optimum solution to implement as part of Phase 2 enhancements.ML to address with OSU OSL
14
Phase 2 EnhancementMike JonesBlog posts no longer searchable by tags and categoriesOn the old site, you could click on links for blog post tags and blog post categories to see matching posts. There is no longer a page that shows those links. Perhaps a page openid.net/blog could be created that shows all blog posts and the tag and category links?Mike LeszczML confirmed with MJ that this is the word cloud that used to be on the old site landing page. ML also confirmed with Carla that we agreed the word cloud would not transition to the new site. We can add the word cloud back into the new site but it is out of scope for Phase 1 so would be a Phase 2 enchancement. Ml has shared options with MJ and Carla in this regard.
15
ResolvedMike JonesBlog posts were stripped of most of their categoriesFor instance, the blog post https://openid.net/public-review-period-for-proposed-second-implementers-draft-of-grant-management-for-oauth-2-0/ used to have the categories News, Implementer’s Draft, Specification, Working Group, and FAPI. Now it only has the News category. What happened to the rest of the post metadata?Mike LeszczSee email from 6/14 titled Tags list containing the 170+ tags that were used previously and Google Analytics showed these were not being used to search/discover content on the site. Recommend standarizing on fewer tags and providing that list/table in the training documentation. We have a long list of tags that we planned on standardizing on because it was a unusable and inconsistently used across all pages not just blogs. Carla to email Mike L with "tags" list that we have for inventory. Very few of the tags were used (based on google analytics) so we do not recommend using more than a standard set of common tags (in otherwords, no custom/unique fanciful tags)
16
ResolvedMike JonesBlog post tags lack whitespace between themLook at the "Tagged" links at the bottom of https://openid.net/public-review-period-for-proposed-second-implementers-draft-of-grant-management-for-oauth-2-0/ and see that the tag names are run together without whitespace between them.Design FactoryDF team - the tags are still running together. Example: https://openid.net/announcing-the-final-draft-government-issued-digital-credentials-and-the-privacy-landscape/ On this example, the article has tags that were not associated originally associated.
17
ResolvedMike Jones"Latest Implementer's Draft" links missing from most working group spec pagesThe page https://openid.net/wg/connect/specifications/ has "Latest Implementer's Draft" links. https://openid.net/wg/fapi/specifications/ and most other working group specifications pages don't have them. Please add them so that wee're presenting our specifications status in a uniform way across working groups. Likewise, make sure these links are also present on the https://openid.net/developers/specs/ page.Mike LeszczAll WG spec pages and the main spec page have been updated/confirm. Mike L to review and confirm with Mike J prior to closing out issue.
18
ResolvedMike JonesMost https://openid.net/connect/ page content gone and the page purpose has been lost. The page should be at openid.net/connect - not https://openid.net/developers/how-connect-works/. The navigation from the diagram was lost. When I click on "Core" in the diagram, I should be redirected to https://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-core-1_0.html - etc.

(Nat adding: I also tried to access the https://openid-old.osuosl.org/connect/ but I got redirected to the new site and cannot access the old site.)
The page https://openid.net/connect/ used to describe the OpenID Connect technology and specs - which is different than describing the OpenID Connect working group. Now it only talks about the working group and omits content such as the "What is OpenID Connect" description and the spec diagram. Please remove working group content from this page and restore the content about the protocol. This had been the most visited page on our site! Let's once again make it something we'll be proud to have people visit.Design FactoryOriginal URL needs to be restored openid.net/connect. The linkable graphic need to be updated "Web Finger" >>> "WebFinger" (it was correct on the old site).
19
ResolvedGail & Mike JonesThe https://openid.net/foundation/ page should talk first about the OpenID Foundation and its mission - not the protocol. Also the Learn About OpenID Connect content should be on the openid.net/connect page.I would have expected our mission to be on the https://openid.net/foundation/ page, for instance. Related to the issue above.Mike LeszczMike L sent Gail draft as reviewed by Carla and Mike J to confirm. Published copy reviewed and edited by MJ and CR. -ML
20
ResolvedGail & Mike JonesThe Fees link https://openid.net/certification/fees/ is missing from https://openid.net/certification/People want to know what it costsMike LeszczFYI - the fees link was not on the old certification landing page (https://openid-old.osuosl.org/certification/) but has been added to the new page: https://openid.net/certification/
21
Phase 2 EnhancementNat Sakimurahttps://openid.net/developers/specs/ page shows the main content in what seems like a footer. The grey zone at the bottom of the page generally is regarded as a footer and people will not recognise what is in it as the content. They do not read it. This problem prevails in other pages as well. I suggest changing the background colour of the content section from grey to something else. Perhaps white is adequate. This is out scope for Phase 1 as it was implemented based on review with other reviewers. This is a Phase 2 enhancement that should be reviewed and confirmed with a larger audience.
22

ResolvedEdmund Jaydeadlink : https://openid.net/intellectual-property/trademark-license/. It is referenced in the certification T&C https://openid.net/wordpress-content/uploads/2019/03/OpenID-Certification-Terms-and-Conditions.pdf
Just to clarify, the Certification Terms and Conditions PDF(https://openid.net/wordpress-content/uploads/2019/03/OpenID-Certification-Terms-and-Conditions.pdf) contains a link to the trademark license (https://openid.net/intellectual-property/trademark-license/). But https://openid.net/intellectual-property/trademark-license/ now shows the Certification Terms and Conditions PDF, which is self-referencing. I believe from the content of the PDF that it should point to something regarding the usage of the OIDF trademark possibly https://openid.net/wordpress-content/uploads/2017/06/OIDF-Policy-Trademark-Usage-Policy-Final-6-19-2017.pdf or it's latest revision.

Phase 2 EnhancementMike JonesExpanding one section of a page unexpands previously expanded sections. For instance, if you go to https://openid.net/wg/ and click on "+ Contributions" it will close "+ What are OpenID Working Groups" if it was already expanded. Please update the control so that expanding sections leaves other expanded sections visible. Manually closing them with the "- (title)" control is fine. This will give users more control over the content that they see.ML confirmed with Carla that accordions and toggles were implemented as requested and confirmed. Any requested updates in this regard need to be considered as a Phase 2 enchancement as this is a manual process to switch existing accordion lists over to toggles.Mike LeszczFAQ's are all done as Accordions, Toggles are used ex. at SpecificationsThe following lists are currently setup as accordions: https://openid.net/policies/

ResolvedGail HodgesWe need to add government to member rate page as follows. https://openid.net/foundation/benefits-members/ So instead of "Non-Profit Organization" it should say "Non-Profit Organization or Government entity" in the purple copy, and the copy in gray below should say "Your nonprofit or government entity qualifies for this reduced membership rate. Content UpdateGail HodgesWe should add information on how to sign in under Step 1 of this page https://openid.net/foundation/benefits-members/#. Which can link to this copy "Tips on How to Sign-In" as the sub-title with same font as "How to Enroll..." just above. Then copy in grey text sould read: Most people who sign-in choose a personal email account to sign-in. ResolvedMike JonesTreatment of Implementer's Drafts remains inconsistent across working group specifications pages. For instance, while https://openid.net/wg/connect/specifications/ has it right now, https://openid.net/wg/ekyc-ida/specifications/ only lists the ID link but not the current spec links. The way the spec section of the WG is laid out is confusing so I've made a note as follows in the email titled issue #49 as follows: Note for the OIDF team – the draft is the latest 2023, the 4th , 3rd, and 2nd are all 2020 -2022 implementer's drafts and there is no “1.0” before the 2nd link that I can find.Mike LeszczUpdates have been made and noted in issue #17 above. Awaiting review and confirmation by Mike J before closing issue

ResolvedMike JonesThe Web site tools should be configured so that normal user actions on the site result in "pages that are correct by default". So, for instance, using "New" / "Post" in the WordPress menu should create a post using our design templates. (It's unrealistic to expect that a broad set of content creators will not use the obvious WordPress content UI elements and instead will always create content by duplicating other content.) UPDATE: I just checked and New/Post results in a blank post that's not editable with Elementor. So the defaults are still not correct.Design FactoryAs there are three templates for posts (News/Events/Papers), the template for creating new posts from scratch is now driven by the chosen category. If none of the three main categories is chosen, the standard template will be "News". So aside of the recommended "Duplicate" processing for new posts, the classic way of creating posts from scratch is now fully available/possible. The Website-Manual will be adapted accordingly with the next version. This has been addressed in the User Manual v1.1

ResolvedMike JonesI can't find some of the developer-focused content. For instance, the pages https://openid-old.osuosl.org/developers/libraries/ and https://openid-old.osuosl.org/developers/jwt/ don't appear to have been migrated. There used to be a developer-focused “Specs and Dev Info” navigation element on every page but that didn't make it onto the new Web site.Mike Leszczfrom _df gmbh: the old developers-page (https://openid-old.osuosl.org/developers/) was linking to:
- Specifications (new page: https://openid.net/developers/specs/ in the navigation under „Specifications“
- Libraries (new page: https://openid.net/certified-open-id-developer-tools/ in the navigation under „Certification"
- OpenID Connect (new page: https://openid.net/developers/how-connect-works/ in the navigation under „Specifications“

to my understanding, from the old „Libraries, Products, and Tools“ we were missing the following:
- https://openid-old.osuosl.org/developers/uncertified/ now available at https://openid.net/developers/uncertified-openid-connect-implementations/ (in navigation under „Certification“, redirect created for https://openid.net/developers/uncertified/)
