Hey! Are you concerned about the novel coronavirus? Are you chill, but want to help your community? Here's a place to organize needs and offers that our community has for each other.

Please share widely and be aware of what information you're comfortable putting out there in a public place (ie is it safe for you to put out your address? do you want to just stick to your email right now?).

This document has four pages:
OFFERS: this is a place to proactively offer whatever resources you have -- an errand run, extra resources, hosting a virtual-hangout, etc.
ASKS: this is a place for you to say what you need, or amplify the needs of a neighbor. Please be thoughtful about how we can get help to the less tech-connected among us!
Please remove asks as needs are met!
FOOD: this is a place for you to find resources for food
(outside of individual neighbors on the OFFERS page).
IDEAS: this is a place to brainstorm what we can create together! How do we keep spirits up, stay connected, and help keep our neighborhoods safe?

west side Hi. I am Lizz, 19years old. I am a student. I leave with my mum and my other two siblings Shannon and Tasha. I lost my dad when  I was 15 years old and life has been difficult since then. My mum owned a small grocery store until she got sick in 2018. She was diagnosed with heart failure and she got a surgery and was advised to chill work. Since then life has never been easy I have been taking care of her and my young siblings with her savings helping out in medication ,paying bills and feeding. I had acquired a job this year as a cleaner at a restaurant but unfortunately I didn't last 3months. I was laid off due to the out break of covid-19 since there was no more business. With the reopening of the states I've not yet been called back since the business was still in recovery. My boss said he will contact me after 2months. But I am really scared for my mum I don't want her to  die .I have to buy her medication, the home bills are accumulating day by day I've tried contacting different people asking for some little financial assistance that at least could take us like for month but I've gotten no replies. She doesn't have anything left in her savings, I am unemployed and I am scared of contacting people personally. We are so much in need of financial assistance but my mum doesn't want to see me begging. please help me out. I am looking forward to your positive consideration. my PayPal is lizzmorgan765@gmail.com.
In need,
Lizz Morgan

joweriaHey

I lost my father due to leukemia in 2010. All along my single mother has been taking care of me and my asthmatic sister not until 2019 in December when she found out with the doctors that she had kidney failure. And she found it difficult to do any thing, she could no longer work and in this covid19 period it worsened because where i used to work as a waitress but i was laid off due to the pandemic . To cut the long story short, things turned around and it was me to take care of her not until we were out of funds. Our savings are done. Right now i need some funds to provide some basic needs with us and even to cover her medical expenses and also cater for my asthmatic sister. Any support financially is welcomed and appreciated. So incase of any response this is my email address. And i will be great full  incase my request is put into consideration. I will eagerly wait to hear from you. God bless you

Yours sincerely
