This could be a short sentence describing the blog topic. You can always come back and refine the title laterHow-to article, Opinion, News, Video, etc.Indicate the publish date for the articleConsider themes, seasons or special days for thematic inspiration e.g. Flu season, breast-cancer awareness month, World Aids day etc. Use that theme to focus your content on a defined topic for a specific period of timeIf you have multiple authors in your team you will indicate here who is responsible for this particular articleBlog post, guest post, Google+, Twitter etc. What keyword(s) are being used to optimize this post?Do you want your audience to do something actionable or measurable? e.g. download free ebook, or Re-tweet this article etc. Will you link this post to another article in your blog? If so which one? Will you link this post to another article on someone else's blog? If so which one? Will you use an image for this blog post? If so where will you get it from - original photo, iStockphoto, Flickr etc. Most blogs have categories or buckets to organize their articles into defined slots e.g. Healthcare Reform, HIPAA etc. Categories are similar to a book's 'Table of Contents'. They make it easy for a visitor to navigate directly to specific content on your site. The line between categories and tags is a little blurry. Tags also make it easy for visitors to navigate your site. However they act more like 'index words' that describe an individual post and connect it to other posts with the same word. So if you have 4 - 5 articles tagged with the same word e.g. "patient privacy" they could fall under the category of 'HIPAA'.What kind of key performance indicators will you look at to evaluate the success of your article e.g. inbound links, comments, traffic, number of content downloads, new subscribers etc.
