i-Readyi-Ready is an online diagnostic assessment of math and reading skills for kindergarten through 12th grade. i-Ready serves as a "measure" three times per year, immediately identifying skill gaps, proximity to grade level content, and time spend in personalized learning. This assessment serves our district as a universal screener and progress measure for district goals. (Two-week testing window applies)

NWEA Map MAP Growth is an assessment for measuring achievement and growth in 6th -8th Science & Biology. It provides teachers with accurate, actionable evidence to help inform instructional strategies regardless of how far students are above or below grade level. (Two-week testing window applies)

mClassmCLASS is an all-in-one system for Science of Reading-based universal screening, dyslexia screening, and progress monitoring. Powered by DIBELS® 8th Edition, mCLASS helps measure and strengthen the foundational skills that all students need to become confident readers. This assessment is administered to 1st grade students twice a year and 2nd grade students once a year.

CircleCircle is a diagnostic assessment in reading, writing, and math skills as well as some observable behaviors for PreK and Kinder students. PK assessment is administered to the students by the teacher one-on-one three times per year. Kinder assessment is administered to the students by the teacher one-on-one beginning of year.

CheckpointsCheckpoints are annual online district assessments given in the fall to 3rd - 11th grade students to evaluate student learning in October. The data is used to provide additional targeted instruction prior to the spring benchmark.

Spring BenchmarkSpring benchmark is an annual online district-required summative assessment given to 3rd - 11th grade students in February/March. This data is used to provide additional targeted instruction prior to STAAR.

TELPASTELPAS is an online annual state-required summative assessment of English language proficiency (taught through the ELPS) for all Emergent Bilingual students. TELPAS-ALT is the alternative version of TELPAS for our significantly cognitively impaired EBs and is completed by the student's teacher. These tests evaluate language proficiency in four domains - listening, speaking, reading and writing - and is used to determine reclassification status of EB students. BOY testing is only required for new incoming Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. EB students who are already enrolled in the district will have their TELPAS scores used to determine their Personalized Learning Plan (PLP).

STAARSTAAR is an online annual state-required summative assessment of the TEKS for all students in 3rd - 11th grade (the assessed content changes based on the grade level). It is administered in the spring prior to the end of the school year. This assessment serves as a final measure for district goals.

STAAR ALT2STAAR-ALT2 is the annual state-required summative assessment for our significantly cognitively impaired students. It is administered to students in the same contents as STAAR, but is administered one-on-one with student. This assessment serves as a final measure for district goals.

Advanced
Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) exames are online summative assessments that students voluntarily take if they are enrolled in Advanced Placement courses that give them access to college-level work in high school. Exams are administered online after all content has been taught.

PSAT, SAT
and ACT
PSAT, SAT, and ACT- The SAT and ACT are both standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. The PSAT is a practice SAT exam.

TSIThe TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help a college or university determine if a student is ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. All incoming college students in Texas are required to take the TSI Assessment, unless they are exempt.

Curriculum
Assessments
Curriculum Assessments are closely linked to the taught curriculum. These assessments are integrated into the scope and sequence of each content to provide frequent progress monitoring. The outcomes of these assessments provide detailed insights that teachers can utilize to make frequent, incremental instructional adjustments to address student needs more effectively.

Summit K12Program is used to support Emergent Bilingual students. Teachers can use Summit K12’s online programs for whole class and small group instruction as well as to provide targeted, individualized review and practice.

EdgenuityDistrict-created tests using the Edgenuity platform will be administered BOY and EOY in the
following courses: 6th - 8th Grade Social Studies, World Geography, World History, US History,
Chemistry, Physics, IPC, Environmental Systems, Pre-Calculus (On Level), Math Models, and College
rep. The tests will include student expectations aligned with TEA and district curriculum.
