Food grade H2O2 Calculator for Water Sanitation (Developed by: John Richter "DIY cold plunge")
2
Adding food grade H2O2 to the water is optional but it is the most "enviromental friendly" way and 100% skin-afe to enhance water sanitaion.

Notes
48
1. After shocking the water, always wait 24 hours before getting in.
49
50
2. Always use H2O2 test strips to ensure the proper amount of H2O2.
51
52
3. Hydrogen peroxide levels should run between 30 and 100 ppm.
53
54
If the levels are below 30 ppm when testing, add hydrogen peroxide at a rate
55
of 1 cup 35 percent food grade hydrogen peroxide per 500 gallons of water.
56
57
Circulate and let stand several hours before testing after adding hydrogen peroxide.

62
4. H2O2 should not be used by itself to sanitize.
63
A secondary sanitizer is recommended. An ozone generator is a great option.

The JED 203 has a long-term track record of success and is highly recommended.

UV light can also be used, but can be problematic to find one that actually sanitizes and
69
the setup can be tricky. Check out the FAQ on my website for more info.
