YesThomasNovaktnovak@mymts.netYesI was blown away by the power of the TO/PB performance at the Montreal International Conference. I would like to reconnect with the possibilities of this fantastic hybrid. Apart from a hybrid art, I would be interested in reflecting on how PB practictioners can reflect on how we could enhance the social and community-building dimesnion of PB. For me, the biggest weakness of PB is its tendency to value individual experience. I understand that, once told, the story becomes the community and others present find ways to relate to what was told and to what will be played back. But are there ways we can go beyond that inner reflection in using PB for community building. Do Theatre of the Oppressed practitioners have some suggestions or reflections? Maybe this could be the subject of a future conference call.Winnipeg, ManitobaRed Threads of Peace7playbackwinnipeg.blogspot.comActor, conductor, trainer

yfrancesco@anamuh.orgNoI am a T.O. practitioner with experience in PT. I have been combining TO and PT for some time now in grassroots work (youth and refugees mainly), both in workshops / preparing Forum and on stage (mainly after a Forum, to acknowledge and honour feelings of the audience after the interventions on stage, and to collect stories that might have emerged in the audience). Some details on www.anamuh.org. I am still experimenting, and I love the dialogue and synergy between TO and PT. Sometimes it feels "bumpy" to change language and energy (from "outside", what can we do, to "inside" how do we feel, let's honour, let's watch), so I will be very inspired to hear some hints and good practices on how to make TO and PT work more smoothly together.Thessaloniki Greece, Budapest Hungary, Milan ItalyANAMUH - Arts for Dialogue www.anamuh.orgPT: 3; TO: 11www.anamuh.orgFounder, artistic director, facilitatorLooking forward!
