Too much text, drastic navigation change. Amount of info is overwhelming and does not track to the question ("How to create a business plan") that was clicked to get here. Still need to search for desired info without clear indication of where it is.

Big wall of text and way too much happy talk (this is in contrast to most of the site, which though it uses a lot of paragraphs usually keeps them short). Users wanting to know "about" the library probably have practical questions rather than a burning desire for a long treatise on the library's mission or testimonial quotes from faculty. A link to FAQs is buried in the text wall below the fold. Also far below the fold is information about visitor access for non Cornell users. Ironically, buried in the paragraph about visitor privileges is a link to the central library web page with information about visitor privileges--that page is much better written for the web with scannable headings and briefer text. Maybe PROSPECTIVE students care about how awesome the library is (although I doubt it) so then put the testimonials in stuff in admissions brochures.

Any useful information is well obscured. Site visitors probably don't want to visit the Bout page that much, and if they do it is more likely to be for library hurs, location and policy. These would be useful things to know, but they aren't here.

Probably necessary to have an About page since it is an expected thing.

It's difficult for me to know if this is useful for users or not. Analytics would be good to see if people really use this feature or not.

Probably makes librarians happy to showcase new acquisitions, might also be a general univeristy library policy to do this. Libraries for other disciplines may see more use of this feature but my guess is that Johnson members are very focused on databases and course reserves.

List of links are useful but there is too much text. Alumni visiting this page are probably focused on what they can access and how they do it. Paragraphs aren't long but would still be better broken up in bullet points that quickly highlight the path.

Too bad it's almost completely useless since all it contains is a comment that the library does hold workshops and has a link to email the library if you want to know about them. You can't actually find out anything about workshops here.
