[That's not the only case (I think) of an enemy being totally something else than what it looked on field.
From the top of my head, I think it happens into Plate 4, when you go the wrong way, full south, and there's that door
and an alarm ringing, and a couple guards keep coming and you can fight or evade the fights. That place (gonna check).]

For example, if the field model is currently in a Move operation, it can cause the model to speed up or move in a totally incorrect manner. This is a symptom of a shoddy engine. I doubt it will ever be fixed. The only way to truly disable interaction between two field models is to turn off contact for both - and to set the contact range to 0.?DLPBDLPB

ff7.exeNPC speed is affected by the operations occuring in field script. The more things that are happening, the more the character is affected (slower movement). This issue may be caused solely by repeated calls to execute scripts, but finding out the full conditions needed to cause this issue is difficult. This is a symptom of a shoddy engine. I doubt it will ever be fixed. Always make sure to call scripts only when needed, and to call a script once if it only needs calling once, using vars if necessary to stop repeated calls. This problem will usually occur inside loops.?DLPBDLPB
