The background is completely colored in. Color is taken all the way to the edge. It is done with care and does not look rushed. Artist applied mulitple layers to the background or added artistic elements.The majority of the background is colored in. Color is not taken all the way to the endges of the artwork. Medium is applied in a single layer. Some background elements were incorporated. Background is half colored in - partly looking unfinished or rushed. Minimal background elements were incorporated. The artwork is not balanced at all and has little to no visual appeal. The elements incorporated have no cohesion.
