1. A more appropriate measure would be casualties / flying hours. I haven't been able to collect casualty data and I don't think flying hours of IAF would be open source. I'll update with casualties per capita once I'm able to collect casualty data.

2. I think there may be significant inaccuracies in the sources that I've used. For example, it doesn't record MiG-21 accidents post 2000 AD. Now, I've read from certain secondary sources that total accidents until now have been 400 but I don't know if the its census numbers are updated, so I tried to keep the data consistent by source unless one figure was not available. I'll improve and post again if I find a non-significant change.
