| How to use: | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| You can leave general comments or questions using the Add Comment function. (Updates will be listed/dated in "Updates Log" tab.)
| The best thing to do with this spreadsheet is to make a copy for yourself on your google drive and use it to add your planets and information. (This new version by R added a lot of data and functionality!) Just go to 'File' then select 'Make a Copy...' ;-)
| Any cell in this color yellow is a cell that you get to fill out with your data from your own app. All other cells with be filled in, calculated, and/or highlighted for you. :-)
| TO USE: (since R updates) 1. Go to File, then Make a Copy to a Google Drive for full functionality. (See next row for information on use in Microsoft Excel, but not as recommended.) Input columns are this color light yellow, also listed in this cell in tab order. 2. Paste (or add) your planets (&DFR!) / level / satellite match in My Planets Tab Columns A, B, C. - (For Earth Level enter #of friends for level. Doesn't matter after 80 friends.) - (If you would like to see an adjusted food status, select the planet under research in AI-8.) 3. DO NOT Paste in My Satellites Tab Column A, it is now automatic. 4. Paste (or add) "yes" for your completed missions in Missions Tab Column A. - (Edit Column B to match your app order as desired.) 5. Paste (or add) "yes" for completed epics to Epics Tab Column D. - When actively participating in an epic, select "yes" in Column E and add contribution amounts in Columns Y, Z, and AA. 6. Paste (or add) "yes" only for ships PURCHASED (or unlocked with steps) in Factory Tab Column A. (ones unlocked by planets/missions are automatic)
| To USE in Microsoft Excel: (Go to File, then Download...) Several functions are not available in Microsoft Excel or not yet. I have tried to adjust formulas to work in both as much as possible, but sometimes the equivalent is either not as smart or there is no equivalent. Cells in this color orange denote functions that either don't work in Excel, or require some work-around adjustment to work in Excel. Note " ** " Means function will be compatible with Office 365 in the July 2020 update Workarounds: -Excel's default is 1000 rows, or more if you scroll. The formulas - for - future (which often look like an empty cell) may only be expanded down to row 150. Just be aware and drag the formula down farther as needed. >My Planets - Food total adjustment for skilled ship ** (type =AG12 * whatever your top ship's increase DFR storage percentage is) >My Satellites - show column A instead of B. change the formula in column C to reference A instead of B. ** (> Upgrade - (If I can get the "my missions left" to work...) change C4 to " ='My Planets'!A3 " and drag down) ** -Concatenate is preferred by older versions but is still supposed to work in newer versions (which prefer concat) -If new planets are added in Excel, the following items won't automatically update in Excel: --Planets: what the dropped satellite matches (including #), and "when" can get --My Satellites: the total satellite match type table --Explore: number of planets needed (totals) ** -If new Ships are added, the last 4 columns (about Factory slots) won't automatically calculate. Excel filter command from Chandra Martinez for My Satellites Tab: =IFERROR(INDEX('My Planets'!A:A, AGGREGATE(15,6,ROW('My Planets'!$A$2:INDEX('My Planets'!A2:A,MATCH("zzz",'My Planets'!A:A)))/('My Planets'!$A$2:INDEX('My Planets'!A:A,MATCH("zzz",'My Planets'!A:A))<>"DFR"), ROW(1:1))),"") Does not work currently :( >My Satellites - Types of planets needed to match my satellites >Explore - # planets needed to complete my missions >Upgrade Tab :( (my missions left) **
| If new content is added to this spreadsheet after you start using this R version, (see "Updates Log") you can either... - re-download this spreadsheet and re-paste your info. (This spreadsheet is set up to minimize effort needed to personalize it.) - add new data manually. (keep a sharp eye!) Most of the formulas are expanded to the bottom for future additions. - if it's just a new tab added, you can right click on the new tab and select "Copy to" to add it to yours. (Keep a sharp eye! Note that all formulas on other sheets that reference the replaced sheet will need "refreshed". Basically they realize the tab they linked to has been deleted, but haven't seen the new tab by the same name. to "refresh" the formulas, I am not aware of an automatic way, so I add and delete a digit to the formula.)
| Please feel free to use this spreadsheet as you need. If you would like to translate it into another language, please feel free to do so. I think that is awesome! Please make any translations available on any site being used for this game so everyone can benefit. Thanks!

| A few tips on using this spreadsheet: (tab-by-tab)
| Tips & How-To-- - How to start using the spreadsheet - How to use the spreadsheet - Tips on how to play the game - Game history / fun facts
| My Planets-- - Bulk of the spreadsheet shows your galaxy in order, with ... ---details about the planet ---calculations such as how much food or coins the planet consumes or produces per cycle ---how much time/coins it will cost to get to the next level - There is a summary column on the far right side that shows items such as ... ---the time/cost to discover the next planet ---whether your DFRs can keep up with your planets' hunger (look at food/minute) ---how many of your satallites are or can be fully matched ---a tally of which DFR types you have ---a count of how many wonders you've discovered - Partially matched satellites (and colored daily gift production satellites) are NOW taken into account. Include if you want more accurate numbers. - (past summary column) There are also adjusted Food tallies to ignore a planet being researched/upgraded (not using food) and to include additional DFR storage capacity from a skilled ship.
| My Satellites-- - (left) Info on what satellites you have, and what they partially or fully match - (right) Data on what planet types "drop" which satellite types
| Planets-- - All the data there is on Planets and Satellites, such as ... ---number / name / type ---what satellite you get with that planet ---what satellite matches that planet ---how to get the satellite that matches that planet ---what the matched satellite's bonus is ---what planet type that satellite will be a partial match to (ones in parenthesis are unconfirmed) ---that planet's wonder ---how to get that planet - There are green trangle lines at the column names that allow you to sort differently. - Note that much of this data is referenced by formulas elsewhere in the spreadsheet, so please don't delete any columns. You can always hide what you don't want to see.
| Missions-- - A very colorful table with all of the missions (with their details) to highlight which missions are done, available, and which resources have been found. - There is a count in the top row towards the right that counts how many missions have been completed or are available. - Also shows how close you are to completing the mission, and whether you can find the remaining resources through random exploration (as opposed to waiting for epics or festival months) - Also included is a column that shows how planets you explored before the mission became available. - There are green trangle lines at the column names that allow you to sort differently. - Note there are unused future rows with the formulas at the bottom, but they are hidden so the blank rows aren't sorted to the top when data is re-sorted. (using the green triangle lines) - Again, please hide instead of deleting columns. Most are involved in formulas in the spreadsheet.
| Explore-- - Helps (Automatically) show which planets types to explore to have the best chance of being able to complete missions.
| Upgrade-- - Helps (Automatically) show which planets can be upgraded without interfering with resources for missions, and "when" the planet will next be needed for a mission.
| Epics-- - Shows almost all the data there is on epics, including (from left to right) ... ---(hidden) # of missions and planets needed to unlock. (Unavailable ones automatically greyed out) ---SELECT "yes" in column D when the epic is FIRST completed for the correct reward to be highlightd. ---SELECT "yes" in colmn E when actively participating in the epic to automatically highlight it green. (Includes multiple option for the voting process.) ---details about epic rewards and how much will need to be donated in total. ---(hidden) rates for cubes / flight time and coins / flight time (IE "fastest") ---(hidden) Rate of Return for donations, see Calculations Tab. ---ENTER your contribution amounts in Y,Z,AA (during active missions) in format =100+200 and your minimum coin and cube reward will be calculated. ---the Differences between two voting options, as applicable ---a simplified schedule of each event in that epic. (see link in top row (AM1) for spreadsheet with full details, such as event names.) - As usual, input sections are light yellow.
| Calculations-- - Shows how partial-match satellites affect production and other qualities. (And Formulas) - Shows how epics and other events compare in payout. - epic payouts have a color filter to show which ones are best (green) or worst (red).
| Factory-- - a way to sort and compare all the spaceships side by side, useful for determining which is best to buy. - enter yes for ships PURCHASED (or unlocked with steps in the case of ss doggii) and the row will automatically highlight green. - ships given to you by achieving a number of missions or planets will automatically update "yes" and highlight green. - Information on a ship's effectiveness in a certain slot is on the right - There are green trangle lines at the column names that allow you to sort differently. - Note there are unused future rows with the formulas at the bottom, but they are hidden so the blank rows aren't sorted to the top when data is re-sorted. (using the green triangle lines)
| Levels-- - Numbers and rates associated with ... ---discovering new planets- time and cost ---upgrading walker core- food / DFR capacity and cost ---upgrading DFR- storage, time, and cost ---upgrading planets- base production rate, base populoation, lab energy cost - Planet discovery count goes to 150, but are greyed out after 140 which is the current number of available planets.
| Updates Log-- - This is where updates to the spreadsheet will be documented. - Dates will be included for all changes made after the spreadsheet is shared.
| A few tips on the game: (sorted)
| The 'Code' can be found in the app under 'Walkrdex'. The quickest way to get there for me is to click on the planets info button and then click on the name or image of the planet. It will immediately take you to the planet you are on. QUICKEST WAY for single planet is to use the camera icon to take a picture, and the code number is in the top corner. ALSO WORKS FOR PLANETS STILL BEING EXPLORED! Suggestion from Nattawut P.: A quicker way is: 1. Focus on Earth 2. Click share button 3. Share your galaxy somewhere (you'll get a URL like this: http://walkrgame.com/en/planets?wid=khHiDMgERzx ) 4. Get planet codes from there :)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On friends (Earth Wonder) -- If you need more friends on Walkr, see the facebook post dedicated to adding friends on Walkr's Facebook page. from Ivy - look for 'Ivy Michelle Capone'.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On DFR -- switching your ship to a higher DFR storage "skill" after DFR's have been full for a while can get you more food instantly (there is an invisible timer that keeps counting)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On galaxy map -- seems to explore the most recently aquired planet. (5/6)
| On Festival Planets -- you only need to start in the month listed. IE can start exploring the February-only planet in February even if it finishes exploration in March.
| On Festival Horoscope Planets -- a planet that is based on the "mid October to mid November" horoscope/astrological sign can also (begin to) be explored at the beginning of October or the end of November.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On Hangar Space Ships -- switching to a ship with less energy storage will lose excess energy and not return, but it does give a pop up.
| ON NEW FACTORY / SHIP UPDATE -- per Jan 2020 (now called Hangar - Space ship per June 2020) Now "inactive" ships can contribute. There are multiple slots: - Event: get "bonuses" every few hours, time is based on ship speed. (discovered conversion formula mathematically) - Main: the "base" numbers for everything, and only way to use a "skill". - Energy: 10%, 20%, and 30% of ships energy storage is added to energy capacity. - Food: 2% and 2% of ships energy storage is added to food storage capacity. - Explore: faster ships can decrease time it takes to "explore"/discover a new planet. Subtracted AT START of exploration. The first 3 slots (1 main, 1 energy, 1 event) appear when you have 6 planets. Max is main + 8 slots, unlocked BEFORE planet #62. If the event fills your energy or food past its max, you keep the extra but is considered full so you can't get more until you get below your normal maximum.
| On which spaceship slots open when: -Event: 6 planets -Main: 0 planets -Energy 10%- 6 planets -Energy 20%- 24 planets -Energy 30%- 48 planets -Food #1- 12 planets -Food #2- between 24 and 32 planets -Explore #1- 18! 24 planets, or between 6 & 20 planets -Explore #2- 35 planets
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On Hangar satellite partial matches -- as far as I can tell, there is not a comprehensive list of satellite partial matches, but they generally follow the ideal planet types. * Noble Cup (Chess War/Unique) is the first exception, which partially matches Cuisine planets.
| On Hangar Satellites -- The first group of 50 satellites that came out with the game appear to be randomly ordered on the page, but after that the satellites appear to be ordered by the planet code number the satellite is a perfect match of.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On Hangar / Alien: (per Jun 2020) Now new alien visitors (up to 30, different rarities) can visit via the transporter. Each can increase galaxy population by up to 2. - 50 charge bars to run transporter; 3 bars for new player joining via your link, 4 bars for daily exercises, 1 bar for 50 cubes. - alien visitors arrive on earth, then get sent to a planet you have (population +0 on completion), then sent to a second planet you have (population +1 on completion), then finally to its matching final home planet, if you have it (population +2 on completion). - 7 days total of travel between earth, planet 1, planet 2, and final home. - alien visitors can visit planets they traveled through after they reach the final / home planet.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On Copilot -- Change your copilot to the 50% (or 80%) slot just before you collect and it will automatically increase the amount!
| On Copilot -- The maximum energy you can collect at a time is 50% of whatever the maximum energy storage capacity of YOUR MAIN ship (or 30%/20% based on the slot). There is a light blue ring that fills up around the icon that show how close the available energy is to the maximum. If the copilot has generated the maximum amount of energy you can accept at a time but you have ship with a larger storage capacity, SWITCH to the higher capacity ship to instantly get more energy from the copilot!
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On Epics, from Ivy -- if you want to complete Epic Missions for cubes, I always have one going. It is usually 'The Furious Dragon King' and I always name it 'Let's Do This!' with various emojis after. ;-)
