In this industry, timing of delivery is extremely crucial as any delay will make a difference between profit and loss. I made my purchase decision based on the fact that Cointerra's website offered an early shipment option.I made the purchase and paid in full on Cointerra's website on 2 Feb 2014, at the amount of BTC 7.2283658 (USD 5,924.89 equivalent). However, the website had a security breach during the period of 30 Jan 2014 to 2 Feb 2014 and my money was paid to the hacker instead. Please bear in mind that at the point of purchase, it was impossible for me to know that the website had a security breach and I was paying to someone else instead.I believe that even though Cointerra had a security breach, their website misrepresented me with information (discounts and early shipment) which resulted in my decision to purchase. All information and links were displayed on Cointerra's Online Shop and I based my decision to purchase on said information.I wish to get a refund from Cointerra on my purchase.I hope to hear a favourable response from the authorities and/or advise on what actions can I take to recover my money.Thank you. | Yes

I wired cash from my bank to their bank on Jan 6, 2014, for $6,125.63. The product they made was not what I had agreed to buy- it ran slower than it was to run. So I requested a full refund on March 31, 2014. They said I was moved to "Refund Pending" on March 31 and again on April 2, 2014. They said it would take 2-4 weeks to be refunded. Now I have been waiting 7 weeks for a refund that has never been refunded. They do not take phone calls or answer emails for support. It seems like I should have been refunded in 1-2 weeks, since I did a bank wire transfer of cash. But there is no way it should have ever taken them 6 and next week = 7 weeks late to refund, and never say a word to me. This is more like outright theft now, or wire transfer fraud.... (I have the same bank as they do- Bank of America- so The cash was sent / transferred that way. And there are many others awaiting refunds from this company for 3-4-5-6 -7 weeks..... Which is not right and not legal. REFERENCE=Order: b(6) -- paid on Jan 6, 2014 by bank wire. My previous email to their support on April 25, 2014--I am still waiting to get my refund. And this is totally unacceptable. You don't have 2-4 weeks to refund my money. You needed to refunditÊin 1 or 2 weeks max- not whenever.... You are closer to grand theftthan any other business model.... This Monday is 4 weeks from whenit was all cancelled- & sent to "processing"Ê.... for 4 weeks--So someone better actually wire it back to my account immediately.----- Original Message -----From: CoinTerraTo: b(6) Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2014 3:21 PMSubject: [CoinTerra] Re: Contact Form Submission from b(6)#- Please type your reply above this line -##Your request (b(6)) has been updated. I placed my order on November 19, 2013 to purchase one of there machines that would be ready for delivery in March 2014. On March 3, 2014 I sent them an email requesting a full refund because the specifications of the machines did not match what they said it would. The machines under performed and they knew it. On March 13, 2014 I recieved an email response regarding my refund from "John". He stated that the refund request was submitted to their finance department for processing. When I responded asking how long it would take for the refund, he emailed me back on March 20, 2014 and say that it will take 2-4 weeks for me to recieve a check in the mail. It has been a little over 8 weeks since that email was sent and I still have not recieved anything. I have sent them countless emails and called countless times and recieved no response. Yesterday I finally hit a nerve with them and they responded that they are working on the refunds. When i asked when I will get my refund the response was "it will take a bit longer" and "I can not give you an accurate timeframe". They are holding over $6000 of my money and cannot give me any sort of time frame to when I will get my refund. | No

I was informed early this year the products would be late, 20% down performance, underpowered and consume 25% more energy than advertised so I cancelled my order on March 24th 2014. I was told refunds would take 2-4 weeks but to this day, 9 weeks on I am yet to receive a penny. I have contacted them on several occasions but my recent emails have been ignored. In March of 2013, the company could not produce what they had advertised. The TerraMiner IV that they produced could only deliver 1.6 TH/s at 2150 watts of power. It also produced so much internal heat that it was necessary to have air conditioning to cool it down to keep it from failing and it was very noisy like a vacumn clearner running, The company sent an email saying that they would reduce the cost or give back my money. I chose to get my money back on the 1st of April 2014 and was approved for a refund by the company on that day. The company sent me another email and said that it would take 4-6 weeks to process my money back. When the 4-6 week period ended, I did not get my refund and I sent an email to inquiry what was holding this up. I sent an email every week without a reply and I finally received an email asking if I would be willing to purchase a second unit at a reduced price, which I declined. They said that it would take up to 10-12 weeks for me to get my refund. I emailed them again when this period pass about my refund and did not receive any reply. Then they sent me an email, asking me if I would be willing to have a second unit for free, which I decline and said I just want my money back. The high power consumption is greater than what a 120 volt, 15 amp household socket can handle is why I decline their offer. It has now been over 12 weeks and I am getting very frustrated with this company. I am not the only person with this problem and from what I read from the Austin Better Business Burea there are something like 200-300 people have a similar problem getting their refund back. I also read that a class action suit has been filed in the State of California and was mediated on the 24th of June, 2014. I have keep all records and emails with this company. I will be more than happy to give the FTC copies of what I have to go after this company that claims to have sold 10,000 of these units since January to all parts of the world. There are many foreign customers that are also very frustrated of not getting their money back, which hurts our country's business integrity with foreign countries. CoinTerra had a customer Forum on their website, but recently shut it down due to the many complaints that they were receiving from frustrated customers. | No
