Award Judges (nontech)Judges are responsible for interviewing teams, reviewing submitted nominations and deliberating as a group to decide which teams are most deserving for awards.

Emcee/Game AnnouncersResponsible for giving play-by-play analysis of games and post-match interviews with students. Keeps the crowd engaged and can explain technical and non technical moves.

Field ManagerMakes sure that the fields are moving efficiently and helps to keep the event on schedule. Interfaces with the event manager and distributes information about changes to all field staff.

Field ResettersQuickly resets fields in between matches. Ensures fields are returned to their original condition and are ready for the next group of teams and their robots.

Field Technical AdvisorsEnsures robots are functioning on any given field during the rounds of play.

FIRST Global RepresentativeResponsible for being the face of FIRST Global. Representatives know everything about FIRST Global and may serve as VIP escorts for certain guests.

Flying SquadFlying Squad is responsible for being on-call at all times to go and assist any team having issues with their robot. Mechanical or Electrical expertise required.

Flying squad intake positionGreets teams when they arrive to determine what kind of problem they are having (example: hardware or software).Prioritizes the needs and redirects to spare parts booth or robot hospital for further assistance.

Hardware InspectorsInspectors will check the robots before the first practice rounds, and be on-call to inspect robots before matches to ensure compliance with FIRST Global's rules and regulations.Will be first in line to notify the flying squad if the teams needs help

Mobile Machine Shop AttendantResponsible for ensuring Machine Shop is tidy and organized at all times. Must have great understanding of all the parts in the robot kit and be able to answer questions about spare parts. Assists in making repairs to robots.

Office AssistantHelps with any administration tasks in the office (copying, errands, sorting certificates, etc.)

Pit AdminResponsible for checking-in both participating international teams and volunteers. Knows general information about the event. Helps teams with general questions and other tasks as needed.

Pit RunnersManages items provided for teams at the FIRST Global games and serves as a point of contact for questions from teams and the general public. Distributes information (such as location for meals, match schedules etc) to teams and volunteers; assists Pit Admin in other tasks as needed.

Practice Field SupervisorsSupervises the practice field areas for teams, including the sign-up sheet and safety of the practice fields.

Queuers/Field RunnersResponsible for managing team traffic in and out of the arena for all ceremonies, to and from the playing field, staging and positioning teams before matches, and ensuring ceremonies and matches run on time. Field Runners: Responsible for assisting teams with arriving to designated queing area on time.

RefereesResponsible for calling points, penalties, and have in-depth knowledge of all game rules. They are responsible for the smooth operation of all rounds of play.

Robot Control AdvisorsWorks directly with teams and other event staff to make sure that all robots stay functional on the wireless network. Must have key understanding of robot control system used in the FIRST Global robot kits.

Safety AssistantsAssists in general tasks, such as keeping the pits in order, ensuring everyone is has safety glasses and is wearing them, etc.

ScorekeeperResponsible for keeping score. Scorekeepers must understand the scoring system and abide by the referees decision.

Software inspectorsSoftware inspectors make sure that the robots will connect to driver station and switch from autonomous to teleop succesfully. Will be first in line to notify the flying squad if the teams needs help

Spare PartsResponsible for managing the Spare Parts booth. Must have good understanding of robots and all the parts of the robot kit. Must be able to answer questions about parts.

Team AmbassadorsResponsible for connecting with an assigned team from around the world. Each Team Ambassador is paired with a competing team and will be their main escort throughout the event. Commitment to the duration of the event is imperative.
