Presentation (30%)Spelling errors and mechanics of the written portions of the plan have numerous errors. The content is terribly formatted and presented and difficult to understand. No effort was made to improve the presentation of the plan. Some spelling errors and mechanical issues in the plan distract from the message, but are clearly understood. There is some semblance of format, though it still doesn't appear well thought out. Only minor spelling errors and mechanical issues in the written portions of the plan exist, allowing the focus to remain on the content and not the issues. There is a clear structure to the plan that helps to convey everything going on to anyone reading it that assists in understanding. There are few to no errors in the written portions of the plan, with clean mechanics that make it easy to read. While the plan itself is well formatted with visual presentation done in a way that significantly aids in catching the attention of anyone reviewing it for understanding.
4
Continuity & Realism (30%)There is no apparent connection between the content of the plan, and the details from the prompt or the established DB/SW canon. Forces and details make no sense in the context presented and are not properly represented. Lanauge used in the plan is not appropriate for the Star Wars universe. Some content from the plan makes sense, where it's clear from the details it is in fact to carry out stated objectives, and appears to take place in Star Wars. Little effort is given to distinguish between forces and their relative strengths and weaknesses. There are multiple breaks in continuiity that make the plan difficult if not impossible to follow. Stated objectives and details clearly flow into the plan itself and everything makes sense, and are clearly within the Star Wars universe. Appropriate strenghts and weaknesses of forces are apparent and fit. There are some minor exceptions that break overall continuity or issues within the plan that break overall realism or DB/SW realism. The plan is free of any issues of continuity, and is clearly within the Star Wars universe. Appropriate strenghts and weaknesses of forces and all elements of the plan make sense given the prompt and source and carry through the entire way with no errors.
5
Planning & Tactics (40%)No effort is given to overall planning, with a complete lack of detail on display in the plan with little to no effort applied. It is unclear what the situation in the field is, and there is no way for friendly forces to know what they should be doing. It's impossible to know how execution of the plan might turn out. There is a plan, with details on the situation with the field with unit orders, but large gaps exist that make it difficult to follow. What's presented is straightforward, with little attempts to establish behavior and environment or any type of setting. The plan is basic and uninteresting, and difficult to follow potential execution with limited information, though some high level outcome can be discerned. Detailed information is presented on the situation with some established depth, and all units have orders and instructions. It is clear that a plan is in place, that is realistic and well thought out, and execution of that plan is both practical and stands some chance of success. All necessary information is presented to successfully carry out a plan, along with in depth details of the situation at hand, the mission, and its execution that are both interesting and engaging. It's clear exactly what all units should be doing, and the execution of the plan is both practical, with a chance for success including contingencies, communications and logstiics to support any outcome.

From Wikipedia: Articulate gradations of quality. These hierarchical categories should concisely describe the levels of quality (ranging from bad to good) or development (ranging from beginning to mastery). They can be based on the discussion of the good versus not-so-good work samples or immature versus developed samples. Using a conservative number of gradations keeps the scoring rubric user-friendly while allowing for fluctuations that exist within the average range.
