I also teach students who trailer in with there own horse. Riders need to come dressed in long pants and boots with a heel. I have Helmets available to borrow or you may bring your own. Private lessons are $60 for one hour which includes the necessary basic skills to become a independent horse handle and rider. Students groom and tack up their horse for the lesson and lounge the horse as needed before riding. My goal is that students become well educated, safe and confident working around horses as well as in the saddle.
