1/17/2013 13:11:32Eastern Mennonite Missionswww.emm.orgYES team - Southeast Asia - Learn, grow, and serve through children's ministry, English teaching, relationship building, and active participation in church life in Southeast Asia. Be mentored alongside locals and long-term missionaries as part of an international team. Begin to learn another language to really develop your cross-cultural skills. Assignment ends in May 2014.

YES team - Germany - Join a group of German students in discipleship training and local community ministry. In addition, this assignment includes a three-week outreach to another European country where there is dire need for the message of hope. Assignment ends May 2014.

YES team - Kenya - Come to Kenya and learn culturally-sensitive discipleship and church planting methods while being intentionally mentored by long-term workers. You will have the opportunity to minister in an unreached area while receiving interactive ministry training. Assignment ends May 2014.

Josiah Venture Summer Internship - Czech Republic - Travel around the Czech Republic working in a variety of English camps during the summer of 2013. Must have experience working with high school aged youth.

Photojournalism - Worldwide - Document where God is at work through photography and/or videography during the summer of 2013. Travel between locations where EMM workers serve. Applicants must have their own cameras and equipment including lenses, laptop, and appropriate editing software.

Agrigcultural business development - Work for an agricultural development business in a small, poor country that was once part of the Soviet Republic. The people are friendly but the environment is a bit challenging, with electrical blackouts and some political instability. Individuals needed with skills in: financial management, veterinary skills in animal husbandry or poultry, business skills, agronomy, or engineering.

Computer programming and business management - EMM workers began an education center to teach English and computer skills to villagers. They plan to open a computer programming side to the business in a year. This position would oversee quality control and management for programmers doing outsourced work for businesses in the U.S. This location is a fertile field for careful spiritual sharing; long-term workers have been working with this nominally Muslim minority group who have faced economic difficulties. Many people are willing to discuss spiritual issues. The people are friendly and hospitable but the living conditions are challenging due to difficult weather and a frequent lack of utilities. Workers use an outhouse and take bucket baths.
Maria Bowmanmariab@emm.orgAll Majors 3Sherrie Ober, Andrew Mashas, and Emily Gingrich will be coming as EMM representatives. No

Innovative, persistent and driven. These are just some of the qualities that distinguish UVA employees. Beyond academic research, advanced technology, and living in the vibrant city of Charlottesville, it’s the attributes of our people that make UVA Health System nationally-recognized. In 2011-2012 Best Doctors in America listed195 UVA physicians as among the best in the nation. U.S. News & World Report, America's Top Doctors, Modern Healthcare Magazine and other publications have also recognized our medical team for its excellence.

Our facilities include a 600-bed Level I Trauma Center, an NCI-designated cancer center, a top-ranked heart center as well as primary and specialty clinics throughout Central Virginia.

The future of UVA Health System has never looked more promising. The Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center opened recently, construction on a major bed-expansion is underway and a substantial expansion of our children’s hospital is set for a 2014 completion.
