Position:Licensed School Counselor

Position Summary: The Licensed School Counselor will initiate, train employees and families, and manage the K-12 substance abuse prevention education program and behavioral health education needs for Vision Charter Academy. The counselor will coordinate with community -based organizations for treatment and counseling for learners as necessary.

Qualifications: Must be licensed as a school counselor from the state of Colorado and/or be able to obtain licensure within 60 days of hiring.

Position Summary: The job of Teacher was established for the purpose of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. Teachers will be responsible for administering assessments, keeping and utilizing test data, and grading and reporting on student work.

Qualifications: Certified Colorado teacher or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and university demonstrated subject matter competency or Praxis content exam.


Must be able to pass a required background check to work with children.

Position Summary: Provide individualized evaluation, direct instruction, and consultation for students with cognitive, emotional, behavioral and physical disabilities. Monitor learner progress in academic subjects and provide instruction in compensatory skills as needed in the areas the learner may have difficulties with as a result of their disabilities. Lead IEP meetings and collaborate with Learner Success Team and Consensus Group.
