Families or groups of families host tables about their country of origin or heritage in the gymnasium. These tables help us to learn about the crafts, books, music, art or anything else of their country. Host a table dedicated to your country of origin or heritage. This table can display whatever you would like to share -- textiles, books, toys, videos (projector available), or have a traditional craft for the kids to make.

Parade of Nations 6:15-7:00pm
65
Sign-up for Parade of Nations is now CLOSED. Please contact angellinternationalnight@gmail.com with any questions.
66
This is an Olympics-style parade that kicks off at 6:30 pm. It is held in the auditorium at New Life Church, next to Angell. Kids march with a sign and flag of their country of origin or heritage and are encouraged to wear traditional clothing (but do not have to do so). Mr. Court reads a few facts about the country as the kids are on stage. We provide the sign and the flag.

AustraliaMatilda Wolfersjwolfers@umich.edu267-432-4372Australia is home to animals like koalas, kangaroos, wombats, platipus, and acidnas. Platypus and Echidnas, are the only two mammals in the world that lay eggs to give birth. Wombat poop is shaped like a cub. Koalas sleep 20 hours a day. And kangaroos hop around people's neighborhoods and sometimes cause car accidents.
