2010-Bought as puppy by young couple. Prob puppy shots, but don't know

2013-couple brought her in for grooming after baby born. Prior to baby, Chelsea was couple's baby. After baby born, Chelsea ignored. Was living under couple's bed. Had ear infections and skin issues - rashes, scabs. Minor at this point.

2014 or 15-Sherry takes Chelsea for good. Was 4 or 5 at time. When husband brought her in, her skin had open sores with tissue coming out; her ears were very infected; raw, red, pus.

2014, 15 Late Spr/Ear Summer-Sherry takes to vet, Scott who treated Chelsea for 1 month with antibiotics, flushes for her ears. Sherry thinks prob Tresaderm and a topical for skin. Within 1 month, all cleared.

2014-when Scott treating her, noticed small heart murmur. Said to watch. Minor at time.

2014 - 2016-Sherry can't remember any symptoms. No vaccines from when Sherry got Chelsea.

Nov 2016-Sherry moved to FL. Started seeing Dr. Gordon. He reiterated murmur. Had gotten worse and vet said some cause for concern. Chelsea got fleas. Sherry treated her for 6 months, 1x/mo with Revolution oil onto back of her neck. Fleas resolved and didn't return.

Fr Nov 2016 - Jan 2020 Sherry doesn't remember any issues.

Jan 2020-Chelsea develops difficulty breathing; loose mucousy breathing w/noise drips with bubbles or mucous.

Jan 2020-Chelsea diagnosed with dry eye. Prescribed Tacrolimus 2-3x/week for 4 months; then stopped (April)

May 2020-Open mouth breathing (pant) begin for a couple of seconds each episode.

June 2020-Chelsea diagnosed with severe heart disease. Came out of a bath at home turning blue; Sherry ran to vet, they put her on oxygen, stabilized her, then to Blue Pearl where they kept her for wkend.

June 2020-started seeing Dr. Dewey Carpenter, cardiologist. Started her on Furosimide 6mg, 3x/day; 0.4cc; Pimobendan 1.25mg tabs, 1/2 tab 2x/day.

End June 2020-Added Amlodipine, 0.25 1/4 tab 1x/day.

July 2020-added Analapril 2.5mg 1/2 tab 2x/day; Amlodipine 2.5mg-increased tp 0.25 tabs 2x/day; Furosimide increased to 0.5cc 3x/day; Pimo no change. Vet case analysis: Chronic Degen Valve Dis-Stage C2; Congestive Heart Disease-Class 2 as per NY Heart Assoc; Pulmonary Hypertension-severe suspect secondary to chronic degen valve dis.

July 28, 2020-Added Silvenafil at 0.2mgs 2x/day. Rest unchanged. Vet Case Analysis-Chronic Degen Valve Dis changed to E1; CHD now Class 1.

Nov. 2020-Sherry notices Chelsea begins to get weaker; walking fr bedrm to lvgrm she'll have to lay down to rest.

Nov 2020-Chelsea has first fainting episode. Goes over on her side; mom says side varies; can't right herself; will cry out with small bkg sound for help. Frequency varies. Sometimes 2x/week; sometimes weeks go by. Happens all times of day. Stressed or not.

Nov 2020-Chelsea never liked to go outside; here starts wanting to go out on balcony when Bella, other dog, goes out for walk. Runs the catwalk.

Nov 2020-mom buys dehumidifier for Chelsea. Had water intrusion in flood; had bit of mold, got fixed.

Dec 16, 2020-Pnemonia diagnosed. Marbofloxacin antibiotic added - 25mg tabs 1/4tab 1x/day for 7 days. Furosimide increased to 0.8cc 3x/day; all others stay same. Vet Case Analysis: hron Degen Valve Dis went back to C1; CHD-Class 2-mildly symptomatic. Pulmonary Hyperten-moderate to severe but improved. Syncope suspected secondary to Pulm Hyer/Chron Deg Valve Dis.

Jan 2021-Furosimide decreased to 0.7 3x/day. Added Potassium Chloride; thus far no kidney damage but vet wanted to do something proactive to avoid it. 10mg 1 tab 1x/day. This gave Chelsea upset stomach; Sherry played with dosage-went to 3/4 tab 1x/day; vet ok'ed. Comes off antibiotic; no longer needed. Case assessment: Chronic Degen Valve-C1; CHD-Class 1-symptomatic; Pulm Hyper-mod to severe but still improved. Syncope-suspected secondary to Pulm Hyper.

March 2021-Furosimide increased to 0.8 3x/day; Pimo increased 1/2 tab in morn, 1 full tab aftern, 1/2 tab night. Added spironolactone 25mg tabs 1/4 tab 1x/day. Nothing else changed. Case Assess - same as Jan.

4/9-Dr. Gordon says ears look much better. Does flush followed by sending sherry home with a sweet pea cleansing solution by OTIC to clean out her ears 3x/week. Also Tresaderm.

April 2020-Chelsea starts licking when she's lying down - the sofa, floor, whatever is there. Mom says no emotional symptoms she can think of has changed.
